Ice Fishing in Maine. We ran out of Bait New Years 2024. Brook Trout, Splake, Bass, Pickerel, Perch

We found some of the only safe ice in the state to fish opening day January 1st 2024. We ended up running out of bait around 11am. Final fish count was 5 Brookies, 14 Splake (biggest was 21.75"), 2 Largemouth bass (biggest was 18.5"), 4 pickerel and 10 yellow perch.

Ah, good ways down south from me, I'm thinking of heading up north to Lakeville to do some fishing. Hopefully there's some ice up to my camp. Was hoping i could save a 120mile round trip to find out if there's enough ice LOL. Nice fish btw, Hope you have a good Ice Fishing Season.@@FishingWithBoyt
