    The color just looks great on this truck is that grabber blue love it

      It is a custom blue that we mixed up by eye. getting more paint to have for future repair or repaint has been very difficult

    Excellent workmanship! The classic lines of the M5 are without equal. Thanks for sharing. Very interested in the overdrive using the 2 speed axle switch on the shifter.

      It is a borg Warner planetary overdrive, it is electrically activated by a governor on the side of the transmission, the governors from that period are not adjustable, the switch gives us the ability to decide when the overdrive can engage

      Thanks for the explanation. I have a Borg Warner of in my 50 Champion. Pretty genius idea using the 2 speed switch to control it.

    nice job ,clean M5 , what did you use type and size actuator doing the same on my M5

      its been so long since we built that portion of the truck i'm not sure exactly, i know each one has a roughly 16 inch of travel and each is rated to 600 lbs. they are mounted the thru-bolts on each end to brackets on the frame of the truck and the core support

      @@bailoutgarage1249 Hey thanks that will help a lot ,the nose is very heavy and I can see why we need lift assist, i finished my M5 a few years ago and now it on to a M15 we got to keep them running people love them, thanks again.
