- This video is aimed to guide you through the topic of series and parallel circuits, along with various circuit components such as potentiometers, relays, thermistors, and light dependent resistors.
Ughhh youre a life saver!! Jazak Allah!
lmao he is not muslim
@@zakriyabadar7464 Jazakallah means thank you in Arabic
@@tanziameherin2696 more accurately it means "May Allah reward you", which works better than a thank you
Your explanation is much more clearer than my teacher. Thank you for saving my time, it all makes sense now!
Sorry, rather long video ! I hope it helps clarify some concepts though :)
thermistor resistance goes up with temp, but only normal resistors resistance goes down with temp
Manav Nambiar pretty late but what u said is the complete opposite
The length of the video doesn't matter ,don't worry ,pls upload more videos on physics
i have an awesome idea 💡💡💡. You can use different couloured cursor for different backgrounded PPTs, now you don't have to constantly press the ctrl key
soo helpful, i appreciate it!!
This is awesome I'm a electrician I wish I had this when I was a apprentice, good job you're a wealth of knowledge keep up the good work.
After 2 years i FINALLY understand potential dividers and potentiometers, you are god send
Thanks alot for all the hardwork that you put in these videos. Really have helped me alot.
saved a life!
thank you smm
Thanks a lot man, your videos really help me, now I fell confident for my examinations, keep up the good work. Love from India.
Thank you
Literally saved my life
i'm not even going to question the glitch at the start haha btw u r amazing!!!!!! this is so helpful for me since i retain literally zero information from just reading a textbook, tysm!!!! u're a lifesaver :))
Thank you so much😇💗God bless you!
Great video 👍
Ur suuuuch an amazing teacher, this helped me alot
Thnq u so much....It helped me alott...
God bless u....,,

So the voltage going into the R2 is always determined by R1?
Why do have another resistor before voltage enters the base of transistors? ( aren’t 2 enough the fixed resistor and thermistor why need a 3)
Second Q, if the temperature was decreased the thermistor would be in place of R1 (basically swap the position when the thermistor has low restance )
So in this potential divider case the one with higher resistance will always be at the bottom ie R1?
Omg I legit have mocks tmrw and if I pass, it would be mainly be because of your channel! A LIFE SAVER.
did you pass?
@@joshuapiong3577 It turns out I underestimated myself... I aced the exam and got an A* lol
@@youemayare congrats! How did you mainly study if I may ask? I’m assuming past papers?
@@jokerryt2503 Yes Past Papers are a MUST. Do as many as you can. Here are some other things I recommend:
Read the textbook (yes its obvious but people ignore this lol)
If you're short on time, use the 80 / 20 rule and study what you think is most important.
Make "crash course" notes to revise fast.
Perfect Explanation
Can you make a video on digital electronics.Logic gates to be more specific.Thank youuu
Thanku ma guy. JazakAllah
really helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Super super super help full tysm
Hello, our physics paper 6 is in less that 30 hours I really hope u do a short video about the techniques and skills needed for this paper
That didn't age well lmao
How'd you do
well he wasnt gonna be able to make a video in less than 30 hours
@@omerahmed4066 he can but he chose not to
Thank you Ernest You made me get a A* in my exam
BEST EXPLAINATION EVER
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH MATE
Thanks man:)
i have an awesome idea 💡💡💡. You can use different couloured cursor for different backgrounded PPTs, now you don't have to constantly press the ctrl key
kinda owe u my life buddy
thanks dude!!
thanks
Can you upload these slides any where and then provide the link in the community tab please.
Bro u should really apply for a teaching job at Cambridge University or something you know everything ! and by the way thanks for all ur hardwork that u put in making these videos, they really help me a lot :)
bro this is IGCSE material, if you want to teach at university you need to know wayy more than this
Life saver 🫶
is this for core syllabus? not extended?
The teacher was explaining these very things in the class and I was there sitting totally clueless and wondering if I was born in the wrong planet cuz the teacher was speaking alien
احسنة يا شيخ
😘I love. You.
Thank you
Ernest! My friend😀
at 1:49 isnt the total resistance in parallel just 2 because the formula is 1/total resistance=1/r1+1/r2 so when we found that its 2 why did we put 1/2 ?
You have to divide 2 by 1 because the formula is 1/R = 1/R1 + 1/R2
Amazing videos! Just wondering, where are you from? (curious about the accent) And what level of education are you currently doing? A-levels? Or which year at University?
I’m from New Zealand, though I am ethnically Korean :) I’ve completed an optometric degree a few years ago and am currently working as a full time optometrist in NZ !
@@Cambridgein5minutes Wow that's amazing! If you did A-levels may I ask what subjects you took? I'm interested in a career in the healthcare sector (biomedicine, etc.), do you have any tips in choosing a degree in university? Or any tips in general from an optometrist would be appreciated!
I'm about to take my IGCSEs in a few weeks and would really like to show my appreciation to your videos! Thank you again for your huge effort in helping us with this exam! Respect 🙏🏻
I took Maths, Physics, Chem, Biology, and English for A levels :)
In regards to my career path I took subjects to get into the health sector i.e undergraduate biomedical course. I guess there are several paths from there on i.e medical school, pharmacy, optometry etc but I think what you choose depends on your grades and also where your passion lies

a simpler way of calculating total resistance for only 2 resistors is the following (R1+R2/R1xR2
Please make video on motors and generators
He made one on a.c generators
If anyone is watching this in 2024 and abt to sit the may june exams, are there any topics no longer covered? I don’t remember seeing transistors, i’m not sure though. I know logic gates are no longer in.
What is the difference between input and output transducer, Infact what is transducers formal definition
Sami Roh transducers are devices or electrical components which convert energy from one form into another form
i want the notes
Ernest oh !!
Cap
no u
Cambridge in 5 mins they said...,but what is dis😢
😂😂😂 if it was 5 minutes then it would help so much
listen you ungrateful bastard, this guy put TONS of work in this video than your in your entire life combined
@@FreyMayBeHere so this didnt help??
@@Deeznuts-xx4hn no it did. I'm just saying for a person like me that had just a month to learn basically all the material, it would have helped quite a lot if they could explain it in literally 5 minutes and I'd still be able to understand. Alas, that is only a dream. A dream that I don't care much about since it is behind me.
The circles that come up when you click is really irritating and annoying
Herms S. don’t watch the vid then, if you’ve got so much criticism
It also takes you like an hour to get to the point tf
That’s rude 😅😅, atleast appreciate the fact he is trying to help us
Show a little bit of appreciation maybe ?
Shut up
Shut the fuck up bro hes trying to explain best he can before explaining the concept
i have an awesome idea 💡💡💡. You can use different couloured cursor for different backgrounded PPTs, now you don't have to constantly press the ctrl key
thanks
