    Hey guys,
    Just an FYI to all those who love the Neural stuff. They have been running 50% off promos for the past little while and I got the Granophyre for 50% off last week. There is a Reddit thread for anyone who wants to keep up on the upcoming deals and Neural stuff in general. Abasi is on this week for 50% off.

    I really, really wish Neural would update all of their plugins/suites and add the EQ that a couple already have.

      Agreed. Also wishing they'd add that nice tuner to all their plugins, too.

    I started purchasing the Neural DSP plugins when the 50% off Flash Sales started, and man, the Mick Thompson Preset on the Granophyre blew me away. All of Neural DSP's products are fantastic, and on the same hand, the Granophyre is in my opinion, the best sounding and worth the money.

    Thanks Scott, great job!
    I'm applying the process of your course while using the trial of all plugins in the universe, and my favorite is .... impossible to define x)
    No seriously, Omega's not on top. Maybe Fortin Cali , or Archetype Nolly. ML's Amped Ark pleased me too.
    To everyone, Scott's course "Guitar Tone Mastery" is worth it, 100% !!!

    Well, I may be late to the party but, I only recently found your channel as I finally decided to start getting back into the music scene. It's going to take me a while to get back up to speed but, I've been looking at your Cakewalk tutorials. I only ever used Adobe audition but, with what I have and what I've been doing for the last 4-5 I do have the minimal gear I need to get started again. For years I've distanced myself from recording, performing or teaching because of psychological issues and changes in interest. I'm determined again, however, to revisit what I loved doing for 7 years. Sorry, I left a comment on an older video but, will say thanks again for putting these up for us to learn from man. 🤘👊

    I really believe you don’t have to eq that much. I used Neural Cali on the left and Granophyre on the right, loaded one impulse response in each of the amp sims, high and low pass , adjusted the tone stack to taste, I added chorus on the right side for a stereo feel.

      @@ChernobylAudio666 trust me I learn from your videos even the special videos that came.out just for a little while. I've had huuuge results with the Mikko plugin, being able to use the mics and make a nice i.r. with your amp sim of choice and not having to eq much .

    I think what the omega slightly lacked to me was that high brilliance around 4-5K Hz.
    If the AMP had a presence knob it would probably be perfect

    Why not consolidate all of those EQ moves onto a single instance of ProQ3? Im pretty sure it can handle that many nodes. Is it more of a mental thing for you or is it for demonstration of your workflow to your audience?

    • @MarkHolden73
      @MarkHolden73 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've found sometimes the notches are very close together and it works better on separate EQ plugins. I've tried on a single plugin and it leaves a big hole in the sound . This is just my experience it maybe different for others.

    • @ChernobylAudio666
      @ChernobylAudio666  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mostly for reading purposes. If the EQ starts having too many moves on it, it starts looking like a modern art masterpiece and can be hard to look at and work with. I like to do, maybe, 5-7 moves depending on a single EQ and if I need more, I'll just open a new one.

      Great class, BTW. You covered everything youve already said in your regular videos but having everything spelled out in that methodical kinda way really nailed it down for me. Was def worth it!
