This is a VW Touran 1.9tdi,
A cheap £500 pound High mileage car that Lee has picked up so I thought I would do a little review and a road test on this gem.

I bought a 2010 (12 years old) model same as this 10 months ago to use as a Taxi for £2500 with 99500 miles, FSH and one previous owner. So far 37,000 working miles covered and only the usual consumables - All cheap as chips, tires especially on 15in wheels are running at around £55 for mid-range each. The PD engines are good for 300k with regular full service every 10k miles I swear by which for me is every 10 weeks or so and when everything gets a coat of looking at. I should get 4-5 years out of mine before it's retired or scrapped, hopefully she'll stay as reliable as she has been so far.
