2:04 I know it's not easy to build a penalty system that's fair in every circumstance, but you have to wonder how the heck you came out of that with a penalty. I'm impressed you manage to stay so calm and immediately rationalised that! 😂

Agreed. This morning a car was spun out in front of me, the spinning car hit me off track. I got a 5.5s penalty for collision and 1.2 for track limits. This was before T1 lap 1 🤦🏻♂️

and that poor blue guy got the 4.75s penalty for the collision he was q victim of god dayum😭

If you make contact with someone, and they go off track, the one that is on track gets the penalty. It assumes that you knocked them off. It uses very basic logic/programming, no AI going on here. This is why "smart" rammers try to get glancing blows.
I hope you have this Vette tune posted, because that thing seems to have a ton of grip and speed

Ngl, I like driving from the car pov but when your driving from the windshield pov, the crashes looks more epic & the driving experience ingame is more engaging. But don’t get me wrong, idk why but i run faster laps w the car pov and i avoid other players more.
With the way Forza's controllers, cameras, and assists work, it's backwards to an actual sim; you'll get better, more consistent times using chase cam and leaving the braking zone lines on. Notice how raceboy and guys like ISAD leave those markers on. FWIW, I do the same thing when it comes to Forza

Lmfao with that 2.25s penalty, if the dude tries to ram you, he gets out of track and you (somehow) are still on the track the system thinks you are the rammer and you get the penalty instead lol.
Honestly they should just remove this system until they fix it, right now it only affects players who wants to race clean... those who wants to play dirty already knows how to deal with this system without being penalized.
