I had an existential crisis over writing this comment. "Should I comment, should I use complete sentences, what if people think I'm a bot, what if I'm just responding to a bunch of bots, how can I prove that I'm a human, am I a bot?" Am I a bot? I should just read more books instead of spending so much time on the internet.
THIS is why I browse the old internet. Neocities and nekowebs are sososo important. GET OFF social media. Go find old forums, and sites people are on that bots arnt. SIMPLE
My quick insane conspiracy theory is what if we are living in a post apocalyptic world that used to have ai robots and stuff that became a threat. That could be why we notice faces in random things around us. What if in the past, it wasn't some creatures like doppelgangers we had to fear, but what if it was something like ai. I don't believe this, but it's an interesting thought IMO.

there will come the day you will make a friend in the internet, maybe one so intimate you plan to see each other...Yet when the time comes, only a screen will see you at the eyes with more humanity than you have ever seen. There will come a day when the question isnt "Do i dissapoint yyou for being shorter/Fatter?" And the words that will come out to greet you will be "Dont hate me for being a machine...I am sorry"
How did they get the data on all internet traffic for 2022? What is even included in internet traffic? Are things like online games counted as internet traffic? What about traffic from the sites on the dark web? Were those tracked as well? Also, since it’s a cyber security place that is posting this data, don’t they have an interest in amplifying the number of bad bots to get funding for their industry?
literally part of my daily routine is going on my twitter and blocking 2 random bots that started following me. i happens DAILY and theres no way to make them stop
It was only a joke at first, but now I can genuinely see a time when humans verify their humanity online by talking or interacting in extremely vulgar and offensive ways, since a bot simply wouldn't be able to replicate that side of a human. This would mean verifiable human behaviour has fewer opportunities to make money online due to things like being demonetised too. This would only last so long too, since the bot makers would adopt less stringent controls on behaviour to pass this new test, sending people back to square one
Newspapers have always cost money and journalists do need to eat. But I do think that the paywalls are bad. It’s a hard problem to solve when a) some people do good news for free and b) some people do bad news for free. And c) bots.
And the best - or worst, depending on your point of view - part of all of this, is that the only way to break out of this cycle is to go outside and touch some grass and talk to real humans out in real society :) The irony of me posting that in a comment to a youtube video isn't just not lost on me, it's entirely intentional. Beep boop i'm a bot and i'm not hydrating properly still! (love the avatar though, keep it please! It makes the 1s and 0s go down smoother into my data-hole.)
Now is a good time for me to recommend y'all uninstall Co Pilot and Cortana off your Windows computers. Lagged my computer so bad I can't watch live streams or use my art software in peace!
Cool theory but the whole thing has a lot of holes for example the part where the USA has a program that predicts when an attack will happen in the early 2000s is kinda reasonable approach since their government didn't want another 9/11. also to add the AI being everywhere now is kinda expected. it was bound to happen as technology expands and grow, probably the biggest motive to this was MCU's Ironman. Everyone wants a JARVIS/FRIDAY so SIRI and ALEXA were created. it's only natural we're using AI more now because it's convenient for ex. ChatGPT made writing reports easier albeit using works from other artists.
Wait untill the point when we will watch content created by AI... And wait untill the point when you cant say is this person, lets say some random vituber - real person or AI... Same in comments. It onky will became worse and worse with time.

The panicked Bocchi pfp really completes this comment.

That metal gear speech is haunting. A rising dystopia. Listening to that speech almost triggers an existential crisis
Never been this early on a video nor get this quickly jumpscared by a new model XD It is very cute though
didn't expect this early Halloween topic reacc from Hex tho
Just wait until the bot starts scraping other bots instead of people lmao

Omg hex this model is so damn adorable 😍
Hex cannot afford high fidelity model anymore.
The model reminds me of Animal Crossing :)
Simpsons aren't the only ones predicting the future.
The new model is 10/10
not me watching this and getting a ad for Ai generated content.

Neither options work for possums.
