  • Super Bowl Sunday turned out to be and excellent day trackside. We started the morning in Williamsport and heard the Lycoming Valley Railroad was running LV3 down to the siding to siding at CP Linden on the NS Buffalo Line. We caught them reutrning at Antlers with one of the railroad Bee Line GP35's on the point. Inside Newberry yard along with LV3 was NS 60T, a frac sand train that arrived in from Wisconsin the previous night. Today the task was to break up the train into segments since they had a lot of cars to go through. After seeing some action in Williamsport we headed south for Sunbury and ended up barley beating 11Z to South Boyles in Herndon. After that we heading up to CP KASE to see H53 returning from Enola to finish out the day.
