Update from Cooler Master: The TD500 MAX is designed to work seamlessly with the latest GPUs ready with AI capabilities. We've prepared an ATX3.0 12VHPWR cable, which is compatible with the RTX 40 series, such as the 4070ti or 4080. For those using GPUs with an 8+8 pin connector, like some RTX 20 series cards or AMD cards, we've got you covered! Users can simply reach out to their local customer service, and they'll provide an extra 8-pin PCIe cable free of charge.
Because it's too hard just to put it in the box with the other cables?
@@RichWhiteUMor because it’s too late into the launch to admit CJ found a crack and a delay would be financially crippling… 😊 I suppose it will become standard further down the line.
For the price point, it should.
@@balazsfitz7517 It should have been included with the first one that shipped. There's really no reason for it not to have been included. It does make it seem like the original intent was to only accommodate Nvidia 4000 series and maybe some 3000 series cards.
Cooler master is simply solving a problem that doesn't exist
Thanks CJ, nice review, as usual 😊
Thank you! Very nice review!
First thing I do on a build is pull out any pre-routed cables. This would add time to the build. I also like to pick out my own coolers and fans. I would never buy a case like this.
Damn it. Why does the max always get the special colors. Outside of the regular 200P. Of course the max also gets a thicker radiator as well.
Have you done a gaming PC case review? I'd like something small and quiet that works for a 4090.
Small and 4090 in one sentence xD
woah, so early
might be good for most but if any not standard motherboard for example with EPS on side of the board then might be problematic ;[
EPS on the side is typically only on E-ATX boards which aren’t compatible with this case. Also the EPS pass through connections are positioned on the center of the mobo tray and the cables are long enough to reach the front side of an ATX board.
@@ElevatedSystemsthere were x99/threadripper boards with EPS on the side of the board . And with E-ATX thats almost a lie with what are board producers doing in last few years - basicaly no standard and calling everything larger than typical ATX they call it E-ATX
