Absolutely beautiful deep & dope
The term I keep hearing over and over about these rotary quality mixers is “summing” and how they take the different signals whether phono or line and combine them together so beautifully. Even with this TH-cam compression I can feel the summing quality of this Resor 2525. These tracks almost melt together which is very unique and amazing.

Oh man. Been eyeing up these mixers for a while. My Technics 1210 Mk 2’s have been unloved and in a sorry state for nearly 2 decades…I’m seriously interested in getting them refurbished and pulling the trigger on a Resor rotary. Problem is, I went down the rabbit hole of music production, and the £2-3k needed for the DJ setup, would also buy some lovely boutique synth or more modular or a nice guitar!! Decisions hey 😅

Please help me understand the selling pitch of this rotary knob-style DJ setup. I've been spinning records and now hard drives for 40 years. The only thing I'm experiencing in this demonstration is 4 on the floor bpm warm easy to mix (Sawdust Neuronphase) music running through a pair of Martin Logan-style speakers, I love recreating music, and I must say the ambiance of the room with beautiful succulents are nice, Just wondering why should I go knob style with this Resor 2520FX analog style mixer meter?
It’s your decision with what you go 😅 I just love the smooth mixing. Have rotary mixers since 10 years and the Resor sounds really excellent and has a great summing. Thanks a lot 🙏

Good Morning, the first track is on our own label Deep Inspiration Show Records by Neuronphase called Sawdust. I have the Mastersounds Radius 2. Super hard to say which is better because they are very different. The Resor is more oldschool without a gain. Quality of the mixer is amazing. Always hard to say which is better from the sound because I don't have high end equipment. What I can say it sounds super good like the mastersounds too. Perhaps even a bit better for me. Needs a proper A/B Test....but sound is taste thing too. Hope it helped a bit :-) If not the experts who created this nice toy can say for sure more about the technical stuff.

@@purdie102 Yes it's my label and doing it since a short time together with a friend. Yes the Radius has the nice filter but thinking also about to get the Resor now. Isolator is much more fun. But still hard to choose which is better.

Great, enjoy! I think that i'll move away from Radius eventually, I do find the single filter per channel doesn't quite do it for me.

I’m about to buy my 3 rotary mixer how does it sound compare to the Varia instruments or the dn78 by formula sound?
Personally I never tested those 2 mixers. So its hard to say which sounds better and it needs extreme good speakers to hear a difference. Sound is for sure dope that I can say. Had many rotary mixers already. Sound always taste thing in the end in this league.
