ನಮ್ಮ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಷ್ಟು ನೈಜ? ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಮಗ್ರ? ಈ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ತಜ್ಞ ಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅರೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ.. ಚರ್ಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಆಲ್ಮಾ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು.

Kadama dynasty had many Kings named as harivarma,ramavarma,krishnavarma well before 5-6th century.kubja vishnuvardhana was an Eastern chalukya ruler in the 7th century,and many Kings named vishnuvardhana well before the 9th century ,they even built the famous Vishnu Temple of chalukya architecture.rastrakutas had many Kings named Krisha and Govinda. Many Vishnu temples have been built in Karnataka with their inscriptions dating well before 9th century,srirangapatna temple was built by tirumalaraya in 9th century also indicating that even tirumala was a famous place by then. En gurugale ,tapp tapp history helkodthairdiri. Please don't try to create divide between north vs south, shaivism vs Vaishnavism,etc.
