To be honest, I appreciate the tips, but I feel like you really don't need to do this. If you can survive the first three stages by playing safe (which you can get consistent at), then just go fungal caverns afterward through the exit in the snow place, and you have everything you need for a god run from there.
These are less of a must do and more of a way to offset bad early game rng, that's why I said you don't have to do them immediately since they can also be done around until you have access to the snow depths exit and by that point you should be able to tell what your run is lacking, a damage wand? grab the paint wand or note spells, a digging wand? grab the eye and earth stone, gold? go to the gold room etc. Especially useful if you want to continue a win streak and can't afford to take much risk.
old man dunk must've bribed the yuotube algorithm because this video was never recommended to me when I was new to the game, could've saved me so many hours that I spent listening to dunk ramble about chainsaws.
Finally beat noita after 82 attempts, and NOW i find this video?! 80% of this was new to me, this game is HUGE! Thanks for making this, I can't wait to spend 3 hours of prep time making the perfect build only to instantly die of electricity
I mostly recommend for slightly less consistent but much quicker prep time, to grab the emerald tablet and some way to escape the holey mountain without collapsing it, some good options are pollymorphin (yes it is a little dangerous but it also doesn't anger the gods) lumi drill, teleport bolt if your skilled, or unstable tellaportatium, of these options unstable tellaportatium is the best, it teleports randomly and can easily get you out of the holey mountains, and if you add some slime into the flask it mixes and turns into normal tellaportatium, which teleports you in the direction of your cursor, allowing you to go up and down through Holey mountains without angering the gods. Anyways back to the strategy, if you can't find a way to exit the holey mountain it's fine to collapse but preferable if you can't, but what you want to do is if you are above 50 health when you enter the mountain, usually a good idea to do, don't pick up the full heal yet, the roof that collapsed can be easily dug through to get back in and the damage curse goes away after 30 seconds, you can't edit wands in the holey mountain anymore but the full heal stays so you can explore more of the coal pits and maybe even find a few life ups before healing, also if you can learn the timing to tablet kick and play slowly and carefully the fungal caverns become a breeze, and you can also just use remote throw to kill enemies around corners and not take damage, another good thing to note Is that the tellaport mages bleed tellaportatium, and if you grab it in a flask you can go down a holey mountain and grab the perk and leave the full heal for when you need it allowing for consistent full clears of the fungal caverns, this usually gives at least one good wand, another tip for looting fungal caverns is that concentrated mana melts metal, including robot enemies, and can easily be gotten in large quantities by spraying some in water. And a good simple wand build that takes very little setup is a spark trigger, also works with any other trigger or tuner spell, and then a basic payload, it can be something simple like chainsaw or triplicate bolt, or if you have multycasts you can have something more advanced like digging bolt and a bomb to instantly detonate it. Sorry for the wall of text, and I hope you learn something if you do end up reading it
This running on surface every time is boring af. I prefer just find water and pick tabula as fast as I can and than throw it in faces of all first area mobs. 700-1000 gold is a good base for run, water is just the most useful liquid and tabula exercises give a lot of fun.
The guide is basically: Spend 3 hours on the surface travelling 50 kilometres to become god. Then enter the first biome and delete it, collecting anything useful. Proceed through the biomes. Get bored and explore more surface. Become god but better. Finally enter jungle. Guide was great thanks!
Dude, you deserve way more subs, great content, really loved the giant enemy spider song on the giant enemy spider boss. Will definitely try these in my next run
Yeah I'm definitely not getting the eye and the earth essence at the start of my runs. Those things are way to tedious and boring and it's probably quicker to get some luck as long as it's backed by enough skill (not the case for me but still) also even if it takes longer at least it'll be more fun than just walking for like half an hour or so. But also git good at wand building really is the core advice honestly. I've complained so much early on about how the game never gave me anything good and I don't even know when I stopped but eventually I looked back and was like huh getting shit luck feels really rare now at which point I realized it was improvement in skill however small. Being better at the basic gameplay meant surviving long enough to get more options and better skill at wand building meant being able to make more of those options and then again better skill at the game means you can better adapt to those wacky wands you create early on and honestly it all kinda snowballs so every minor improvement in skill brings you quite a lot of improvement in how well you do as doing better in previous levels snowballs into the latter ones. (I still suffer from a severe case of chronic skill issue though and if I don't find some form of infinite healing by jungle I'm probably doomed (meaning the vault might still be doable for me but it will leave me utterly ill prepared for temple of art, though honestly that place strikes fear in my heart no matter how well prepared I am).
As someone who's played Noita on a Surface, slower computers have very... variable framerates. It's pretty impressive that the game never froze for me though, just slowed down!
Wow only the 100th time I've seen some idiot that thinks going for the tannerkivi and paha silma is a good way to start a run. Although I'm surprised that even though you're wasting 30 minutes at the beginning you didn't mention the minigun. What's another wasted 15 minutes though?
Ok I kinda agree, but not to that extent, do you have any more reasons then the normal "you could get good enough rng to easily make it through the first 3 levels in the time it takes to do all that" imo its not too late game helpful and doing it every run is just boring, but I wouldn't say idiot and wasting time, so what are your reasons to hate it?
I didnt know about the earth stone paha combo etc... ive done many runs trying to get infinite black holes dying to alchemist or finding no ambrosia etc.. this is pretty good info lol
I love how the first piece of advice is to basically ignore the underground
spent like 2 hours doing this and then immediately died to a poorly built wand that blew me up, 10/10 experience

lmao
16:53 so all of that wasn't time consuming? 😭😭

Or get ping-pong lumis in the first holy mountain, that works too.

I just can’t be arsed to spend 10 mins traversing the map every restart
Amazing vid. Just remember you'll die a stupid unforeseen death for some reason later on
minor spoilers is a bit of an understatement
I usually start out with pit boss cheese lol, really like your Noita content :3
What i do is just find a way to break cursed rock and get ambrosia. Then i just dig under the necromancy orb for a free tower wand very early game.
i ain't doin' allat (amazing video bro keep it up)
Dude, you deserve way more subs, great content, really loved the giant enemy spider song on the giant enemy spider boss. Will definitely try these in my next run
Noooooooo dude PLEASE make a vid on wand building ilysm

... disagree with last part, sure the game doesn't always give rock homing but is the game worth playing without rock homing?
Kantele spell giving Loom vibes 😄
8:54 Scrooge MCDuck simulator
How are you meant to access those two rooms? One was meditation cube right but the snowy one ive never seen
Wait, tabula smaragdina can activate the glimmer room???? I thought it had to be a repairable tablet
Wow, your game operates very slowly.
"earlygame" :D
Uh. What would qualify as a major spoiler, then?!?
not sure you want to know the answer to that
why does your game feel like it's being played at 0.5x
Maybe slow computer, I also have a similar problem, but jokes on you it allows me to dodge almost all projectiles
He slows the footage down for some reason. There are multiple clips which are at normal speed

18:28 tf is that laughing
26 minutes of sitting here reading when you could've at least used TTS AND you're playing at what seems like half speed? Hard pass.
Can someone just barrage this guy with salmon? He angers me greatly.
