I still question how a skeleton with 1hp, 1atk and 1def can beat someone with over 680hp with only 2 bones Nonetheless, this singular animation has way better storytelling than the current direction of Dusttrust/Underswap: Thanatos
And also you forgot that papyrus has 20 atk and def and this papyrus did a genocide in ruins and snowdin so they will probably have 40 def or something like that
Based on how attacks works on monsters in Undertale, I’m guessing that sans fear of death basically increased his attack power enough to kill Papyrus (Since I remember that it’s mentioned somewhere that since Monster’s are made of magic, the amount of damage they’ll take depends on how much they wish to harm someone), and since sans is using magic attacks, the damage further amplified (Since Magic attacks, unlike Physical attacks, are more easier to control in terms of both patterns and damage, so sans being in extreme fear causes him to amplify the damage from his bones)
