There will never again be anyone as good or influential as Ted. I’ve seen or heard every major guitarist from the 50s until now and TG was just the very best. His mastery of the instrument and his knowledge of music is mind blowing, especially for someone who didn’t play out very much. He was truly something else!
Anyone know of any guitarist that have recordings in this style of blues comping? It's such a shame to me Ted Greene didn't make any hq recordings of his improv. Especially the blues. I can listen to this form for a long time.

Tim Lerch has a couple of wonderful albums out that are influenced by Ted's playing. As well as lots of great videos on TH-cam.
