"DO NOT" buy a Yamaha KT100. Pretty much nobody runs them anymore, anywhere. Lo206 is the package to run. It is by far the most popular class almost everywhere. It's also the cheapest to buy and maintain. And most tracks will have a spec tire rule as well. Someone with zero karting experience will be completely lost trying to run a IAME KA100. They are much more expensive to buy, race and maintain. And much harder to drive, fast. If you're a newbie. Try to buy a complete, race ready package from someone who knows what they are doing and consistently ran up front in their class. There will be lots of junk for sale. Go to a race, talk to the guys who run up front. Most will be glad to help you.
I appreciate this video. You really cut through alot of the basics here in one shot 🙏

Thanks for this!
Glad you got something out of it. Good luck!
Thank you for talking up road racing! That’s rare. Even mentioned Vintage. A true racer!
Road racing is where it’s at!! Thanks for watching!!
Come on guy..
The Yamaha kt100 can get well over 100mph in the road race series especially on an enduro kart.
80-85 ?
I would not suggest a beginner start their karting career Road Racing and Enduro. But that’s just me.
