    A lot of story and a lot of talent packed into less than 29 minutes of suspense. They sure knew how to make them back then.

    Quite a few twists and turns for such a short story. You could tell the camera loved Newman's face from the start. 8/2018

      Never ignore the credits, beginning, more importantly, the end credits! They may be boring to you, but in certain productions of the time, that's where the details of the cast are! Paul did a great job playing the "older" captain!

      Actually, it's his third. His first was...imdb.com/title/tt0040996/fullcredits and his second was...imdb.com/character/ch0486518.

    The old commercials are fun.

      That's why I (unlike some others that upload these episodes) keep them in.

    I love the way women used to dress. Such class...tailored suits and dresses, finishing touches, like linen handkerchiefs and hats...silk stockings and gloves. I think our decline in fashion is a reflection of the decline of society. Instead of improving on the styles we've gone down, down to baggy sweats, not in the gym, everywhere. Cut up clothes with flesh hanging out...I'm 62 and just in my lifetime I've seen this decline. So sad...femininity is a precious pearl.
    Pearls before swine...😔

    Wow, no wonder Newman ever attempted an accent again except 'Southern' which he perfected.

      Don't you mean "never" instead of "ever"? Lol.

      Yes, and why don't they have edit buttons on youtube!

    • @Suspense1949
      @Suspense1949  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They actually do have an edit feature. It's the three top to bottom dots that appear on the right and above commenting.

      You click on the three dots and it gives you an option to either edit or delete.

    @22:52. Is that Joseph Campanella behind Newman?

    The standard organ music is too much. I’m glad that was eventually discontinued.
