In relation to a different engine, I researched that recently. Best thing to do is just put your engine code and 'torque', 'spark plugs' or some such search term into Google - obviously the info is out there. The advice here to just pull them tight is bad - this is not a question of experience, as you hold your wrench in a different position every time and thus cannot know how much torque you are actually applying. Google the numbers and go with that.
Very important information is missing, such as torque specs, about avoiding cross-treading, and always blow some compressed air on the spark plug pits before removing them to be sure that no dirt will fall inside the cylinder.
Hey rich can you show us how to remove the manifold in the w204 or engine 272 cause they seem to command for the actuator flap to broke because they're plastic. Thank for your with videos you post

on an ml320 the driver rearmost cylinder's plugs/wires are virtually squeezed between the the fuse box etc. what is the method for removing these bad boys? my wires thus far are not 'gently' popping out either, so I can't finish the job I'm stuck on these final 2 plugs

I still have a mild vibration when it idles. Do you think the star diagnostic will show any problems i have? My C.E.L is not on and I don't have any pending codes. My 2008 C300's navigation shuts down and closes like 30 mins after I've driven. I thought it was the battery but I've changed that and it still happens? Could it be the spark plug. Also when it shuts down my gas meter also falls and my blinkers flicker fast. This started happening like 3-4 months ago when I left the key in my car for 3hours. Engine off though. Any insights?

I just want to know what the torque specs are and the spark gaps for reinstallation. Great video though
Cls 500 uses a Torx 25 to remove the coil pack. Get the same short socket to fit a 3/8 ratchet.
Is that the same socket to remove the plug itself

On my ml430 I removed the wheel liner above the tire and you have access the the rear plugs

any torque specs for tightening the spark plugs? To prevent over tightening or under tightening....
+Tony Atin the paperwork that comes with the new spark plug will usually say. NGK plugs are usually 18 and Bosch are usually 19.
