It’s crazy how closing your eyes can throw off your balance so much, even when standing in one place… balance is a skeleto-muscular/ cns & inner ear (vestibular) thing, yet our perception throws us off bc we think we need to see to balance; we really don’t! Otherwise blind people would be crawling everywhere.
I cared for my 83 year old dad with dementia for 5 years. He was very active his whole life but by 85 he started falling. It was terrible and terrifying. I know how important these are and will be doing these regularly forever. Thank you so much!

thank you! i've noticed for the past 3 weeks my balance hasn't improved so I've been looking for exercises to improve it. i will do these along with core strengthening exercises :D

Maybe see a doc first to find out why your balance is bad. It could be your feet, your walking style, your hip alignment, your hearing or blood pressure Copying this young, athletic man could be deadly for older people. It would be safer to start by practicing them in a corner of the room

Thank you I have syncope or epilepsy not sure which and keep falling appreciated. Im being monitored atm. Waking with injuries and collapsed a week ago so trying to stop this. When well im very athlete and can walk fine. I just fall suddenly. This was 3rd fall.
