Question about the structure sheet..I thought the GM key could not share any of the same cuts with the change keys. It also doesn’t follow the odd even odd even pattern. Am I missing something?

If I’m changing control key as well do I need to remove top cap like most IC cores or can I just re key like this video

Will the follower only work with large format? I tried using it with a conventional core with no check pin to preserve the top pins, but it would not push through to raise the pins. Could it be an old bad follower? Thanks for any help.

Where can I get one of those plug followers? The one I have doesn't have that cut out to get the master pins out. This follower would save me so much time (and pins) as I have to take them all out and put them back in w/o the master pins. Also, I believe I work across the street from your HQ. If your HQ is in Carmel, I definitely do. I'm very new to this "Lock Smithing" game but I really want to learn this stuff and get better at it. Are you aware of any schools or classes that teach locksmithing courses? Thank You!
