After listening to the Tao Te Ching recently, in the introduction to which the narrator states in a loose translation of Lao-tzu's actual writing, "one becomes two, two becomes three, and three makes everything." It seemed appropriate here when you talked about the Supernal Triad and Binah ❤

yes, this is how Tarot originated, as symbols to carry forth the knowledge of the
Tree of Life. They were meant to be meditated upon to open certain centers of
consciousness in the brain, not for divination. That evolved from it, but not the
original intention of its creation. Thanks for explaining this for others to see,
    its not just for divination.

Yes! Very that. The pillar of severity is all about "what is not" in a way to allow what "is" to be what it is . . . and so the chariot defends the city from what the city is not :)

It's such a shame though that the diagram used appears to have Malkuth misspelled. It seems to end in a zayin and a resh, on this diagram - rather than a vav and a tau.

Um hi? YOU ARE FUCKING FANTASTIC? I'm a reader also... im about to start a channel. How you're not legit BLOWN UP by now is beyond me. Makes me think MY CHANNEL will fail miserably.
I learned SO MUCH FROM YOU that completely upped my game. I've been messing with tarot since 95 in high-school and YOU showed me more in a week than I've learned in 20 years. You're gorgeous and maybe we can collaborate one day!

@@JoeMonteleone OMG Thank you so much for responding. When i first saw your class on the street video, I was extremely impressed at your method of teaching b/c i had MAJOR issues remembering meanings, that's why i just did it intuitively. I also didn't do readings often at all, I had ONE deck thrown in a shoe box, no real connection to it. It wasn't until I was sick with breast cancer in late 2019 and through the pandemic that I really started again and made a channel. I wanted to REALLY ABSORB the meanings this time, but the chemotherapy messed up my short term memory SO BAD (Chemo fog) that I couldn't get it to STICK. (my ADHD was 865995x worse from the chemo too.
Your methods give SO MUCH of a gray area for you to lose yourself, but FIND YOURSELF in at the same time! It's amazing... seriously...
Picking up Tarot again changed my entire life. I had Kundalini unprovoked and was unaware of what had happened until months later.
I at first, wanted to ask if you would mentor me, then I realized you were a successful business owner (even more of a reason to want your guidance, but an understandable reasoning as to why you may not be able to.)
I'm on Long Island now, about 40 mins from the city. sorry for the novel, I just felt compelled to tell you that you are helping to change lives out there... even if you have no idea you're doing it.
      Thank you.

Thumb up for acknowledging #6 is Jesus! So many spiritualists these days are so focused on #1 they fail to acknowledge Jesus and go through the harder paths of severity or mercy, but please don't diafy Crowley. The path through the teachings of Crowley rarely lead to growth.

Kabbalah roots from Judaism, Jesus is not relevant in the Kabbalah it’s God Hashem who is relevant, you have to learn Hebrew in order to understand the asephirot they all have a numerological number and meaning. Yud is Hashem = one and is to be seen in all Hebrew letters, anyways take it to the original and don’t make up things ..

I noticed your description of the "planets" is not completely aligned with the true astrological meanings, such as describing venus as our ability to be an individual and revolt, that's a quality of uranus, which is 2 on the tree of life rather than the entire zodiac as you described, and you also described venus as being concerned with desires which is a Mars quality. Another example would be referring to saturn as an eternal (I forgot how you worded it) mother when saturn is a very masculine energy. It's like the grandpa. Overall I felt this video was very misguiding because of your confused understanding of astrology, which is all the tree of life is; old Jewish astrology.

    • @JoeMonteleone

That was meant to describe the nature of netzach. The zodiac is originally attributed to chockmah. Uranus is a more modern attribution. Both are correct. These systems change over time. But thanks for sharing! I do take this feedback into consideration.

I would say that Venus very much is related to rebellion and being an individual. Why well because Venus is the morning star and the evening star. This same star is also known as the morning star, Lucifer, the Lucifer. The rebel angel, who led a revolt in heaven. Yes, that is the same as Venus. That is why in mythology there is a theme of a heavenly woman falling from heaven, such as Venus Greek identity Aphrodite, who fell as a falling star or testicle falling down into the ocean. Or in gnosticism as Sophia, an ion who fell from the Paloma or in Mesopotamian mythology as in the queen of heaven who descended down into the underworld. If we look at Aphrodite‘s major role in Greek mythology, the Iliad, she is the initiating force of that story, because she offers Paris, the love of the most beautiful woman in the world. He chooses this and that woman is Helen, and Aphrodite causes Helen to fall in love with Paris, and they elope causing the war. This is quite a rebellious, set of actions. Also, Venus very much is related to desire, because she is the goddess of love.
