You have some very cool tools. That unusual pair of pliers that you were not sure what they were, I think I know what they are for. I believe they are a small pair of chain link tool pliers. The prongs sticking out bent in different directions are used to open the chain so you can shorten the chain. Then the opposite side you use to crimp the chain back together. I have much larger ones. One is St Pierre which is the first company to make metal tire chains. The second one and the most special to me is an H.K.Porter chain link tool. It was made at their Somerville Massachusetts plant during the 1960s when my dad worked there as one of their machinists. It was sold to an auto parts store in Fitchburg Massachusetts which is the town my mom was born and grew up in. I collect any tool made at the plant my dad worked in. I have over 50 going back to 1886!❤
Pretty cool older tools. Utica pliers are pretty awesome. I also have those parallel Bernard pliers - I thought they were really cool & with the cutter… but they’re pretty bad pliers 😂 - maybe they had a purpose - idk.
Have you guys been to Redwood in Wallingford?? It's been there forever. Check it out - I find deals on hand tools there all the time. I've also gotten excellent deals on pocket knives... i think you guys are in lower fairfield or Westchester county, right??

I never really saw the benefit of the parallel pliers. The Utica pliers were made so well. They used to be a top name in the industry.

2- Could you say how much you paid for each item next time? I’m curious!
Spoke shave is a wood working tool, kind of like a plane but can be used to smooth and shape round pieces
