Another great performance! I have watched every one of her performances from her 1st audition (where I thought she was also great) and she has never once faltered. On top of the inside beauty that emerges from her, her physical transformation is phenomenal. She's so elegant and statuesque. And all of this was always there. I watched all of her performances and as she slimmed down and styled her hair, she actually looks much like Celine Dion, but most important she sings like her but with more power. If she isn't successful in the future, then there is no explanation.
Watching this video again, after reading some of the "after" stories and watching some of the "after" videos, I understand now why Mrs O looks so animated towards the end of the song and is so emotional. Sam had some problems hitting the high notes during rehearsals and when she performed as flawlessly as she did here, Mrs O was obviously pumped up that Sam was spot on in this performance and very emotional as she knew in her heart that Sam gave it her all. When I am down in the dumps, I will watch this video and it gets me pumped up. I can watch this and all of Sam's performances over and over and over again.
When I heard sam Sam Bailey sing this song I got A little teary since Sam Bailey has that power open vocal range, her unbelievable verbratio, and her long sustaining notes. All I Know she can be the next Celine Dion just standing 🧍♀️on A podium
