RMinkjunkie1664 1664 hi mate,!the float its LG is a spomb gloat just cut down to fit. The reason for it is because some fisheries want a float on the spomb so if you crack off the spomb floats as they sunk otherwise. Putting it on the inside makes sure it doesn’t effect the cast

Pardon my ignorance mate, but why would you want your spomb to float? Have you found another use for it than just depositing free offerings? Are predetor anglers using them to cast their baits further or something? Not a dig mate its a genuine question!
Some lakes will only allow the use of a spomb with the float. Makes recovering them easier for the bailiffs if you break off. Seen it on the rules section of a lake I was looking at fishing.

Yes dude as said slot of fisheries are now making it a rule that all baiting devices have to float on a crack of due to the amount that are found on the bottom of lakes and still have a few yards of braid attached to them which obviously causes a dangerous environment to the fish
That's how I got my Spomb, Hadn't had a bite for a while so pulled it in and found I hooked one.. day ticket paid for its self.. just needed a clean.. lol

Spomb springs are weak anyways, I silicone a shaped piece off cork sanding block on the inside top cavity of mine !

Hi dude I’m not sure as I fished in UK and Europe. Not all fisheries have the rule of a floating spomb
