- This video is dedicated to showing all of the intros from the American version of the British game show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. All of the intros from 1999 - 2021 will be in this video, and that’s my final answer.
All intros are completely different than every european intro
I’m just showing the U.S. intros in this video.
That's what I' m saying .I'm impressed from the fact that all US intros are absolutely unique and have never been used in any other country's version

@@GRSurferMost US adaptations change a lot, it's actually more impressive how many elements they DIDN'T change from the UK show IMO
The intro’s for 1999-2000 must’ve been tiring (from a production team’s perspective) since it sounds like Regis had to be recorded each night “Night 1, 2, 3 & so on), as well as getting clips from the previous episode
Technically there is 1 that is missing: The $0 winners version intro from Regis' era.
The primetime intro was better but start from Meredieth era; the intro become worse...

Although I'm not American, I can easily imagine that the 2010s era was the worst when it comes to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire of the USA

Does anybody else from the UK notice that during Regis Philbin's era of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in the US, most of the intros before the "Last time on..." segments have the Fastest Finger First spinoff theme? Or is it just me?

Syndicated version is back in 2005
The syndicated version Millionaire began airing on September 16, 2002, and was initially hosted by Meredith Vieira. Cedric the Entertainer took over the show in 2013 following Vieira's departure, with Terry Crews replacing him in 2014. The syndicated series' final host was Chris Harrison, who took over from Crews in 2015 and hosted until the show was cancelled, with the finale airing on May 31, 2019.

I never realized that the reason for the modified primetime intro was because of 9/11
The intros from the premiere of the show to the intro at 3:38 had the World Trade Center in the background. After 9/11, the intro was updated to no longer included the World Trade Center in the background. That’s what I’m assuming, but I don’t know for sure.

Apparently, the people who came up with the shuffle format thought that the Hot Seat was too comfortable.
@@KLR2007the shuffle format literally got rid of the iconic millionaire theme, it honestly wasn't even wwtbam anymore
US uses different theme than in other verisons of Millionaire worldwide
