Retired here in FL and don't take the FJ-09 out unless it's 60 or more. I suppose it's because I don't have the correct clothing. Great bike. I have about 9K miles on mine. Growing my channel as are you so thought I'd give ya a little help. All the best to ya.

Sucks that your truck wouldn't start. Yup, the day is always better when you go to work on the bike. I took the bike out this morning, and it was 4c! The heated grips worked like a charm. Ride safe dude.

We didn't get to see your motorcycle costume. Sad day!

I love starting my mornings with a little commute to work on motorcycle. I am actually considering trading in my Honda for a FJ-09, fell in love with the bike when I tested it!

58 degrees Fahrenheit? That's like summertime, right?

I'm trying to change the screen, I have a long givi screen on my 2017 mt09 tracer (fj09) and it's nice but looks kind of stupid when I do mostly city riding. I go touring once/month or so for long weekends. Anyways, what kind of screen are you using? It looks great? How does it compare to a longer screen?

Jumbo Body In this video the bike has a modified factory screen. I found it quieter as the air passed over my shoulders but my helmet was in clean air. The bike now has a Zero Gravity sport screen. It's nicer looking but works similar

What mpg do you get on your bike? Worst, best and average? What year is it? Is there a difference between the 15 and the 16? Thinking about getting one.

Mine is a 15. Average fuel economy over the last 5000km has been 4.8L/100km. Haven't done the conversion (to mpg, am in Canada). That's without resetting it over that period, and I would classify my riding style as moderately aggressive. The 2016 has a different oil pan with relocated drain plug, and different color choices. Just ovr 11,000kms on mine now....love it.

PapaC2000 thanks! That would be 49 miles per gallon.
