  • Assalam Alaikum ! (Peace be with you) I received lot of questions about bankstatement for studyvisa in Finland and Europe. I have made this video to answer following questions
    What is bank statement? Do you need it? Why we need it? How to get it? How much money we should have? What Migri (Finnish Authority) want to check in Bank Statement? Who can be your sponsor? How to take money from your sponsor? and many other questions related to that.
    I hope this will answer many questions but if something is still missing. Just write me in comments section. Enjoy!

    Hello,
    Your video content is really informative, thankyou for the usefull content.
    I have few questions.
    Q. I have all the savings in terms of Gold so if i will sale all the gold and put that money in my account will that be an issue?
    Q. How many sponsers we can have?
    Q. In my case my husband and friend will be my sponser, if i talk about my friend what he will do he will take big amount from someone and then transfer in my account, so the point is do i have to attach his Bank statement as well, or if i have to attach so migri will ask from where get all this money?

    • @UmarDrazAKAStoryTeller
      @UmarDrazAKAStoryTeller  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Well , the general rule is "you should have proof from where the funds are generated", the more difficult is to verify the source , Migri will ask more questions. If you keep it simple, they will keep it simple. Now to your questions:
      1. sell the gold , take the receipt , open a new bank account, deposit the money in there as one amount, attach "bayane halfi" that I am converting my gold savings into cash for visa purposes etc.
      2. You can have multiple sponsors, there is not limit, however lesser are better!
      3. You need to attach your husband and friend bank statement, Migri can trace that particular transaction (big amount) coming from your husband and friend accounts to your account. I would advice, give more weight to your husband and friend little less. Take, transfer more money from husband and less from friend , lets say 60%, 40% or 70%, 30% respectively. Migri can ask (if they are not satisfied ) how your friend get the money. Be ready to explain that too but they might ask or might not. Remember, hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Hope these answers would help. Thanks!

    Video content is misleading. We have to show 6720 Euros bank statement despite 2 years of RP. Its not 13440 Euros requirement. Take one year or longer, you must have EUR 6,720 in your bank account when you submit the application. This is what Migri says at its website.

    Dear Umar Bhai,
    My Sponsor would be my brother in law working in Spain but a couple of months ago he used his savings to purchase a house contract but right now after transferring the required amount to my account, my sponsor's closing balance would be around 1100 euros. But He have a job contract, salary slips as well as tax return statement etc
    Someone told me that if your sponsor would not have a huge (8 or 10 thousand euros) closing balance after transferring the money, that would cause a problem, Need your expert opinion in this regard.

    1- if I sell a land to generate the 6720 and have copy of the land document but my study will last for 3.5 year do I stay need a sponsor for the remaining 2.5 year
    2- if the money I generate from the sale of land is enough to finance my study for up to three years, will it be a good idea to deposit all that money in my account to prove or migri say only the 6720 is required

      Good questions, if you generate living expenses for 1 year, you will get 1 year visa. Later on , you can apply for 2nd year once you are in Finland. Substantial earnings can be made through part time jobs to support/ show your finances.
      So, focus on 1st year at the moment. Other years you will manage later.

She has 7000 euro in her account. I took that money. So should I take bank statement of my mom's account before taking or after taking the money from my mom's account?

    Hi Sir.
    My question is that my sponsor is from UAE and he has salary of 5000 which is being credited. But he had given some borrow amount to his friends as a cash some months before. In last 2 to 3 months there are some incoming funds transactions of 1000, 1500 dirhams etc from his friends which he gave as borrowed amount to them. Also sometimes , he transfer 2000 , 2500 dirhams from his second account to his main account and withdraws that amount on the very next day. I mean that amount is not in the savings of main account.
    Will migri ask me about these transactions which are different from salaries.
    If yes , then what can i attach as a supporting document. And then should i attach documents about those transactions on the very first time or when migri asks me for supplement request then i would upload.
    Please guide me. I am waiting for your kind response.

    With regard to visa/residence permit, while in the country, you cannot in general change it from one to another, ie come as a traveller and then decided to study, in that case you need to go back home, apply from there and then come back.

    Hi. Thank you for the information. i just have a question regarding the supporting documents in the case of sponsorship. So i would need to send a bank statement for my own account and then a bank statement for my sponsor's bank account right? so do I also need to send all the other supporting documents (i.e. employment certificate, tax, affidavit of the sponsor) together with the bank statements? or di I just wait for the embassy to ask for it? becos as I understood, you emphasized to just keep it simple and i thought maybe a lot of documents all at once can be confusing.

That is simple way. 2) The other option is you need to show yourself as her sponsor by earning almost 2000 euros after tax. Usually in spouse visa one person should have 1100 euros per month + additional 650-700 euros for wife or spouse. The idea is her means of income must be secure by you. Just check one thing , you might have other siblings, Embassy will see how many other dependants he might have, will he be able to support you through out your studies?? If you do not have answer to these questions than better change your sponsor. i) yes, if you provide proof of funds origination, it will be fine with embassy. ii) It does not matter, any bank account can be used but try to use the one where less transactions are performed. iii) yes, they can ask for statement of whole year in some cases, they can ask questions, that is why I am saying, open account in your name and deposit the money all in once into your account. iv) Rental agreement. v) six months old is standard, in case you just opened new account than even 1 month is ok.

    Sir ,Please do reply

    • @UmarDrazAKAStoryTeller
      @UmarDrazAKAStoryTeller  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is advisable to use one person as sponsor. If the person (your uncle) is Finnish Citizen then you do not need to attach bank statement, just his details would be fine. However, if he is living in any other EU country , then you can attach bank statement for 6 months. The big question is "Can you manage your expanses yourself or with the help of Sponsor?" If you can answer this question with any documents (bank statement, job details, tax details etc.) then you are OK. The criterion is same for most of the countries. There can be some exceptions too. I do not think Nepal has some different rules. There are lot of Nepalese living in Finland and they get the visa rather easily compared to other south Asian countries.

      Congratulations on securing admission. It has noting to do with Cyprus permit. The application is treated separately. If you fulfil the requirements, you will get RP.

    Good day Sir, I am one of your subscribers that never gets tired watching your videos on this insightful channel.
    There's something particularly relating to the "PROOF OF FOUND" that I really want you to make me understand with your whole heart/knowledge👇:
    I am an African (a Liberian) currently in India. I just completed my bachelor degree program and really considering Finland for my master's degree program. In India, students are not allowed to save such money in their account (6,720 EUR). My account statement from Liberia can be accepted 100% at the embassy in india here?
    2. My sponsor is in the USA, will his bank statement be accepted here in India along with other documents from him??
    3. If I open three separate accounts here in India and ask my sponsor to share the 6720 EUR equally in them, will the finish immigration accept the three Bank statements???
    I really need quick response, ma'am. If you can make a total video explaining this it will be helpful for us here in India, we are many here are confused about these inquires asked above.
    Thanks!!!

      Hi Joe, Thank you for the feedback. I was very occupied recently and was not able to reply comments sooner. To your questions: 1- You can attach your Liberian bank statement , there is no problem with it. You just need to have enough funds for your stay. 2 - You can also attached your USA sponsor bank statement, this will be great help. 3- I personally advise to open a new bank account either in India or Liberia and get the funds from your sponsor in that account, then just use that account statement along with sponsor account statement.

      There is no limit of months. If someone is sponsoring you, take funds from sponsor and deposit in your account.

    I have few questions.
    1. I am doing freelancing and I get foreign remmitance alot. But I am a filler too for three years like right after my graduation. So there is too much incoming of remmitance. And there is difficult to keep track about the payment like if he pin point where is this coming from. So what is your suggestion.And I am doing job too, so salary slips would work. But my remmitance are coming in the same salary account too.
    2. My sisters is living in Belgium for 9 years. She has a PR but does not have citizenship. She is living with her husband who is a national of Belgium. How can they support me in this thing. I heard that if y have relative aborad then things will be difficult for you as they will think u gonna stay there.

      1) You can go with your statement. You can provide summary of foreign remittances from which ever platform you work on (usually you can get full details of transactions from freelancing platforms, if you are using one). Other payments can be clarified by your salary slips. I do not see any issue in that. As you are filer so your tax returns will justify both payment streams. However, if there are payments you can't provide trace of. Its better to open new saving account and deposit money from your existing account to new account.
      2) Your sister or brother in law can be your sponsor if you apply for Belgium or even for Finland (If they have citizenship). They just need to show financial means which they will use to ensure you would not have any financial problems during your stay. In this case they do not have citizenship, I need to search and check relevant information for Finland. Will do it in couple of days.

      @@UmarDrazAKAStoryTeller Thank You for your response. my followup question is,
      if i open new account and deposit funds inthere, wont they ask me that from where that money come from ? coz yes i am a freelancer and sometime i get from whatsapp and get money from western union Usa app and get directly into my bank account, so sometimes i wont able to tell them where exactly it come from. so if i will open new account and deposit funds there, they still ask me te same questions

    Hello, I have been offered admission to study in Finland for my master’s degree. My uncle will top up my account with some block amount. After decision has been made on my application is it mandatory that I keep that money in my account or I can give some or all of it back to my uncle?

    • @UmarDrazAKAStoryTeller
      @UmarDrazAKAStoryTeller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your uncle is giving you money for living expanses, than how will you survive here if your return the money? the purpose of the money is you can support yourself during your studies. Other option is you can find a job and support yourself.

      Well, I do not think so, they need hard money in the bank... either your bank account or your sponsor bank account. Majority of cases rejected due to financial reasons. I advise you follow guidelines given in the video, - take money from sponsor , - - open new bank account and - - - get your RP.
