What is that giant cooking surface called? I've never seen that before.
It's an old plow disc. We call it a Disco, but it has a lot of names:
Cooking disc
El Disco
Discada
Cowboy Woc.
My dad had one while I was growing up. I ended up getting this one last year. I use it a lot.
Thank you for asking! 😃✌🏽
It’s called a Disco, from Mexico. They originated as they came from the plow discs in farms and ranches.
Chile Colorado is my go to at any Mexican restaurant.
It's one of our favorites, too! 🙂💯
❤oh my goodness that looks soooo delicious‼️‼️💯💯💯
Thank you for the great video's. Have a nice night and always 👋🏽🤗🙂🙏🏽💯💯
Thanks, man! We love cooking outside. And thanks for the support. We really appreciate it!! 🙂🙂✌🏽
Have a good evening as well! 👍🏽👍🏽✌🏽
Wow love the Simplicity no really just wow
That is very much appreciated. 🙂
And thanks the watching.
Besides guajillo peppers, what's in the guajillo sauce? We usually use chili powder. Gerhardt Thank you for your videos! ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching our videos! 🥰
We'll have to do a video on that sauce. I thought we had one posted. 😃✌🏽
If that's chuck, this will be tough as hell. That meat has to braise to become really good.
You definitely couldn't cut it with a fork. 🙂
My wife said the same thing when I used that cut. We didn't have time for a braise. What cut would you have used?
Thanks for watching! 😃✌🏽
That looks amazing. Much love!
Thanks. 🙂 much appreciated! 🙂✌🏽
❤😋 😋
😀😀✌🏽
I love when you use lard instead of vegetable oil!!
Me too. We use it as much as we can. 😃
That knife looks like it's just bulky and half useless tbh.
We love this knife! It is a little bulky, but not overly so. I hear you, but to each their own, I guess. It's our primary knife. I might eventually get a narrow boning knife to go with it. A boning knife and a bread knife are all I'd use besides this one. Thanks for watching! ✌🏽
