Your energy is inspiring! I am 74 and recently reconnected with my love of stitching. I am being selective in projects. Have always wanted to have a Christmas tree with hand stitched ornaments. With this in mind pulled out P. Buckley Moss ornaments I purchased years ago, 2 Williamsburg ornaments, and 12 days of Christmas by Cottage Garden Samplings. My preferred fabric is linen. Once they are all in progress will finish a bell pull I started many years ago. I also finished a sampler from many years ago with a Bible verse about entertaining strangers. I continue to enjoy seeing your progress and feel that you are a long distance friend!

Hoo boy! I remember those days of sending off the kids on field trips. I worried so much about sending my oldest son out to New Mexico to the huge Boy Scout Camp out there. Luckily, he was very good about updating me on where he was on the bus trip. I think it helped that older boys were along for the ride to help keep him focused (he was a bit of an airhead back then). Just a part of helping them spread their wings into the wide, wide world.
This has definitely been a great experience for him!

Wonderful finishes as always! I need to get back home so I can start finishing! My plan to stitch 52 ornaments in 2023 was great- I would get to stitch some patterns that I normally don’t get to, work some charts out of my stash, use up some small pieces of fabrics…..the downfall: I am now 27 ornaments in and realize, crap, I have to fully finish all these! 😂😂😂😂
