I got this same gun about a year back been shooting it a lot, It really is a nice gun for the price. I love nickel plating on guns and wanted an inexpensive but corrosion resistant gun because where I live in the US and this fits that purpose perfect. If you can get one for a good price I highly recommend.

I got mine took it apart used mil-spec oil on everything put it back together ran some snap caps through it and didnt have anymore double feeds.

It looks like when you loaded the fifth shell it wasnt fully in the tube then when you racked it forced the gate and caused a malfunction ive shot some old crusty ammo and never had a problem but mine also doesnt like the fifth round even with 2 3/4 shells

I have the same problem. No matter how many shells I load into the magazine, they never go into the chamber without my brother Bilo doing something to it.

I had slugs for a while but learned it’s best to have buck shot cause slugs will continue to fly through the target(attacker) and may hit innocent people around

Do you have trouble getting the 5th shell into the carina? Put in 5, 3" shells no problem first time I took mine out, took it out again weeks later and some reason that 5th shell just doesn't want to go in. Super weird. Did you get yours figured out? I am going to send mine into RI

Check to make sure your spring and follower isn't binding up in the magazine tube. Also it may be an ammunition change. There is some variance in shell length before firing.

@@SlavicCelery thanks for replying, everything looks to check out, cleaned and lubricated. My first thought was maybe a shell is a tiny bit longer, I was able to get the 5th shell in but was more difficult then it should have been for sure.

Same gun. Not sure why they did that but the model number on my Carina matches the model number for the All Gen on the RIA website.
