What blows my mind is the number of tiny ribbon cables that must be unplugged. I might have miscounted but I came up with 22 such 'unplugs'. And how you better make sure they are firmly plugged back in during reassembly.
And then there is the matter of keeping track of what screws go where. That smooth sexy outer appearance disguises an incredible amount of complexity. That such machines can be mass produced and still be very reliable overall is astounding. I used to think film SLRs were complex mechanically, and they were. And while these digital cameras replace much if not most of the mechanical parts, they are still complex but in a different way.
After watching this, definitely best to take it in to a professional repair. I can’t risk screwing up an expensive camera. Thank you for the video Malang! You guys are pros!

Except its not anymore. Getting this fixed by a pro might cost more then buying another one used.

This tutorial is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Maybe for a repair shop technician used to disassembling expensive camera's, but for the average Joe. This is a guide on how to throw money away.

I fixed my camera the first time, I could take pictures , but it was out of focus a little bit, so I dissembled it again to check the 3 screws for it, but after that the camera was shooting 7-10 pics continuously and dissembled it again to check it but after that the camera did not switch on, no power. Do you have any clue what could happen. Thank you so much for your help and advice.
I thought this was gonna be a quick turn on and jump around video and its fixed!!! I started laughing so hard right after the 3 screw was removed and laughed out loud for about 3 minutes straight!!! I will never do this. Im calling B & H or Samys in LA.

Thanks, looks so easy (opening), the challenging part is to mark the alightment screw put it back and count the correct turn. Putting it back is like a puzzle 🤣 but i like the challenge

Many parts looks like my 50d also got err30 like this (but still can shutter by Live View before err30 appear on screen so I will on/off switch each picture)
I think I'll just live with Err 30...Errrr :p

Dicoba di service dulu, bisa juga cuma ganti shutter blade nya saja, kerusakan dibagian yg lain juga bisa. Tapi biasanya yang sering bagian shutternya

Well, as if I wasn't depressed enough when I started this shutter problem yesterday...you guys are amazingly good. I'm taking mine to a local camera store to see what they say ...it's like losing an appendage! Keep up the great work.
