The remarkable balance of passion and control in this performance is what makes it stand out. At volume, and in a live setting, such command of dynamics - all the way from a lover's whisper in your ear to a full blown banshee wail - is truly breathtaking. All perfectly phrased and effortless sounding. Not many singers in any given generation can do this.
You are so Exactly right...the spectacular music that Radiohead has singularly achieved..can be said to catapult from Jeff and this Album. Must not neglect the 1988 musical achievement by Mark Hollis and Talk Talk...and his live versions of Renee....just to add
J'y étais ce soir là de février 1995... Un silence incroyable entre les chansons et son hommage à Édith Piaf... Cette chanson était la dernière... Des gens pleuraient à mes côtés ...Sacré bonhomme 😎
This is one for the ghosts. To everyone ever tried to cross the line and failed. This is is one for the memories, and being there, too... In loving memory.
"I try to make my music joyful..it makes me joyful to feel the music soar through the body" (J.B.) No better description..definitely applies here..a true masterpiece! ❤🎶🎸
Je crois que c'est la première fois que je commente une vidéo, imaginez... Quelle magistrale version, du très très grand art !! Le plus grand des 90's ? Au même niveau que Kurt, Dave et d'autres comme Billy.
It’s not known that…..when Grace came out…..some band members took note of how to do it right…..messers YORKE, Greenwood and Brian…..yes! Radiohead changed themselves to reach Buckley’s Grace….and they took it ahead and beyond…..
Dream Brother at Glastonbury is the absolute greatest version performed by the band. The only way I could describe it is by saying it's what I would expect when someone enters heaven and is met by the voice of the angels. Lover at Sony Studios was the best version, especially at the end when Jeff nails the high notes and audibly shakes you.
NO ONE WILL EVER DO IT LIKE HIM 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
One of the most beautiful men that ever existed

Couldn't have put it better myself hes an underrated rockstar
Und der Adressat hat es nie gehört.
@@adonaiyah2196 He was underrated in the USA, although I don’t have a clue why. In Europe and Australia he was a STAR, they loved him.
@@joycesignorella3330 he's virtually unknown in his native Orange county.

Jeff went into a trance sometimes when he sang. Just incredible.
This version is a cry, the Chicago version is a scream
What about Glastonbury

I literally just listened 20/08/2024 and I'm out of breathe again! What is it with that? He even pronounces the words as they sound like the wind.

Cela fait mal de penser que dans la même salle où s'est produit ce moment de pure grâce musicale il a pu surgir aussi la barbarie la plus effroyable.
Incredible!
💔💔💕 you are very loved Jeff!
immenso.... non ci sono parole...
Genius
Imagine what he would have done...
Green eyes blew goodbyes...
I missed this show... Didn't get a ticket in time... An all time regret, i thought he will tour, play, sing, live longer ... Why, Jeff?? WHY ????
Enorme !

Did we all forget that Glastonbury happened?
ngodoy247 that intro from glastonbury...
the last minute here changes it all and brings more intensity to the music to me

Garrick Vachs where can I find that clip from sony studios?
The best are the Olympia and Glastonbury imo
Jesus Christ
please listen Selina coogee bay hotel at Sydney 96’ jeff was on fire in a guitar solo that he makes, brutally version, last with Matt Johnson.
wholly shi't this is good
Incredible performance
The Chicago version is still the best perfomance of the song
This man, he had the devil in him.
I mean that in a good way😎
Tantissime bestemmie. Tantissime. Per aver "perso" una persona così
Olympia is still the best version
its 95 @song studios' one imo
I like the Glastonbury one
Tragic venue, tragic musician.
Not the best version but great anyway
I definitely prefer the Chicago version
