    So stoked that you finally got the gun stock I mentioned many videos ago and that you actually like it! this is in my opinion the best gunstock I have seen / used and I love that any time I add a new HMD to my collection all I need to do is order new cups and it will just work with it, also I completely agree with you that for both my Quest 2 and Quest Pro that the controller grips are the best I have used and I have tried a few different ones.

    I have every option including the forcetube storm module and akimbo Provolvers and I have to point out a few things which I think need to be highlighted,
    For Index users the protube is a good buy, however it is not compatible with the provolver or forcetube, i havent managed to find anyone who has had success with the feedback without completly turning down the feedback and ignoring the moments of tracking lost.
    There is not a lot of compatibility unless you use the companion app which goes based on sound and is for PCVR only,
    Games like population one work better with the provolver as the protube will make you worse due to the amount of flying and climbing however i would still advice to play with no stock or just a starter stock/ small bar
    Pavlov for the quest currently doesn't support the forcetube, originally was supposed to be supported by full release but still no update when this will be supported however Pavlov on PCVR works great
    I would also like to see the company working to get more native supported games, there are many games that could make use of the feedback but we still have pretty much the same games we had last year.

    I agree that the MagTube is the best gunstock that I've ever used and owned. I prefer to use the sling as a 2-point sling as this gives you much better added stability. It takes some time to get the sling adjusted properly and I cannot stress that enough, but it is well worth it. I have mine adjusted so that when I pull up the weapon to aim, as soon as I start to feel tension on the front bungee, I know I am perfectly looking down sight. I also rotated the front sling mount 90 degrees facing left since I am a right-handed shooter. This just helps to get the forward part of the sling a bit out of the way when placing the forward controller cup back onto the gunstock after reloading.
    Now, I personally do not like the ForceTube buttstock as it's heavy and at least for me, doesn't work well with Pavlov.
    The MagTube has both helped me play better professionally in master league as well as to climb the leaderboards within Pavlov Killhouse.

      I have used a lot of gunstocks on the market. I have never made a video on them, never have been given them to try out, always paid for them with my own money.
      With that said, out of all the gunstocks I have used, the ✅MagTube gunstock made by ProTube is by far the best. This is because the adjustability they have especially at the joints is far superior than anything else out there. They are easy to get setup while also being the most comfortable. They are a bit pricey compared to the competition but in my opinion, you get what you pay for.
      Now, forget the 🚫ForceTube with that heavy battery, recoil, low and high vibration motors buttstock. It's not worth it, was a waste of money, and to me is actually annoying.
      Whatever you choose to go with, my opinion is to go with the simpler designed ones like tubes and joints where the controllers mount on Top (this way nothing blocks visibility to the controllers sensors so you'll have no tracking issues). Being simpler in design also means they are lighter weight which is good for long play sessions. I also like to look for ones that offer a 2-point sling option as to me they offer way more stability when aiming. Lastly go with one that has the most adjustability within your budget. I hate to say it, but it's hard to beat a ProTube's adjustability. They have 26 notches of adjustment at each joint while most of the competition only has around 12 notches.
      I hope this helps and good luck to you.

    I actually have a gunstock made from a combination of a mamut and a protube. I bought a forcetube maybe 1 or 2 years ago but it completely ruined the playing experience , as the balance is lost on the gunstock and my cat hits bigger than this heavy box on the end of the gunstock. Provolver is another one of those clicky Chinese pieces of crap...good for those just getting into vr or playing casual games. They rested on my bhaptics vest for 2-3 months until I sold them. I sold the bhaptics vest to a vrchat fanatic, he kept it, but the buyers wanted to return the forcetube and provolver.

      This is the 5 Joule version. And I've used it with the Tactsuit. They work well together, but the vest absorbs some of the kick because it's not right up against your shoulder. But then i wrote directly with owner of company (Lerrick) and ask About compatible with another games (single player like walking dead, medal of honour without calibration setting etc. ) because in every review of gunstock are always only multi player games like pavlov, onward, contractors etc. He is very good guy and honest so tell me that sanlaki isnt good for games like what i mentioned because every game has different holding of weapon. Did you try out the chrome and carbon and was it different? Did you get the second front controller holder And lastly did you get the 2 point sling? • @bringhurstvr
      @bringhurstvr  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have the 5 Joule version and I'm happy with it. Seems like the 12 is just more battery life, as far as I can tell. I haven't tried Ghosts of Tabor yet. I have the 2 point sling and I really recommend it over the single point. I'll have the ProVolver early next year, but haven't been able to try it yet. And I'm not sure what you're referring to as far as the chrome and carbon.
      Since you can use the Bhaptics Tactsuit and the recoil device at the same time, I'd expect you can use the ProVolver and the ForceTube as well, but the logistics of using them in tandem sounds like a nightmare.

      Yes, just loosen the joints so that the tube can slide completely out, loosen the controller mount, slide it off, flip it around and slide it back on. You'll have to adjust the mount once positioned on the tube where you want it, but very easy to do. I occasionally flip mine around to shoot off-handed to give me a challenge.

    • @protubevr4814
      @protubevr4814 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @@ivan-j4l9x
      The Joule unit is an energy unit. Not a force unit.
      The joule measurement is quite subjective and means how it will use the electrical power to supply the kicks or vibrations.
      The main feature of the Storm (ForceTube 12j) is that it is has a longer range of power.
      Meaning it can use weaker and stronger info from the game.
      It's more about max and min power "possible" than actually all-the-time stronger.
      But of course, that will depend if the games devs made it so it can go stronger.
      Basically, the max power of the ForceTube Storm is higher then the ForceTube Explorer (5j), but isn't stronger all the time.
      Moreover, the autonomy of the ForceTube Storm is longer than the Explorer (+ 1h30)
      Kind Regards 🙂

    Does anyone know if you can just use a regular phone charger adaptor to charge the protube. The instructions say to plug into a computer only to charge but not everyone has a computer so that .ales no sense

    • @bringhurstvr
      @bringhurstvr  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know it says that. But I prefer fast charging, so I've got mine plugged into a 30+ watt wall charger. No issues so far.
      You'll wanna do your own due diligence, but that's my experience going on three weeks.

      It works with anything, provided you're using a PC and are willing to build a profile yourself. But that said, no, Ghosts of Tabor isn't listed as being natively supported yet. But that's still a pretty new game and I'm sure they'll have official support this year.

    Found a good deal on a second hand Forcetube. My only concern is the added weight. How does the added weight of the forcetube effect you after a long contractors play session?

    • @bringhurstvr
      @bringhurstvr  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've played about two hours at a time. The weight of it isn't really noticeable in my hands, but this stock VS the Sanlaki does put some fatigue on my back. But I've associated that with me needing to readjust it so I'm not crouching or slumped forward as much. And I haven't played with a different adjustment yet.
      It feels fine weight-wise, and any discomfort seems like it's related to posture.

    • @botyuri-pavlovvr6269
      @botyuri-pavlovvr6269 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Personally, I prefer the regular stock or the new adjustable stock over the ForceTube. With that heavy battery, recoil, low and high vibration motors buttstock, it's not worth it, was a waste of money, and to me is actually annoying.

      @@MamaMia84oo7 the haptic unit attaches via a slot with something like wing nuts. It's secure, but easily removable. And it communicates with the headset via Bluetooth, but there's no latency. It's not having to transmit detailed audio, so with only a timed signal it's pretty instantaneous.
