She is SO well spoken which is admirable. She hit some very valid points, too. What a wise young lady. Bless her.

My Mother has stage 4b ovarian cancer and is currently undergoing her first round of chemotherapy. I got her a subscription to 'hello fresh' - (meal delivery thing). Really helps her and my Dad out and gives them something new to look forward to a few days a week :)

Thank you for positivity. I had colon cancer but now it's just liver cancer. Treatments are rough on me. Your vids are helpful.

You look beautiful Cheyann, I love this heartwarming message. I went through cancer the last year and a half and I have to say I’ve experienced pretty much all 10 of these suggestions. The meal train was huge after my major surgery. It lasted about a month. So many generous and loving people. Stay well and continue that beautiful spirit 💜🦋🙏🏻

I love your "Be The Light" t-shirt. It reminds me that we are all connected (sort of like a family or community). It's amazing to see someone so young doing so much good.

Another great video girl! Being in treatment for 10 years, I can say that I agree with every one of the. But there was one that I've never heard of, and it really struck home for me. And I'm sure there are many other people out there who would love this too. The idea of a surrogate caregiver. I am a single mom of three children and I do not have a caregiver. Well to be honest my sister is listed as my caregiver and acts as my caregiver. She does an awesome job however our locations limit her. I lived near Philadelphia and she lives near Detroit. She also has a family goes to school and works. He will jump on a plane and be here in 2 seconds if I need her. However she can't jump on a plane for every single meeting blood draw chemo day that I'm sick and I can't take care of my kids ... so the idea of having a surrogate caregiver is absolutely genius!

I am so so happy you posted this. I have a friend who confided in me that they're getting tested for cancer in the next few weeks. I'm doing my best to keep them up beat and help them out. This is a huge help, especially if they get diagnosed. Sending much love and prayers to you on your journey. :)

my friend just found out she has recurrent disease after several years and it is all over her body--lung, brain, liver, adrenals, bone. she is trying to wrap her head around this and is overloaded with calls and texts, so she asked that i not call or text for now. i respect her wishes and will be here for her when she is ready. the best thing i can do for her is crochet 2 baby blankets for her newborn grands

Prayer is very powerful. Talking to God is important. God wants us to trust in him. To share all of our feelings large and small. God hears all prayers. We never know exactly how our prayers will be answered, however they are and sometimes in ways we’d never have even thought of!

Re: visiting...I’m always worried I’m overstaying and taking time when my friend needs to be resting. That they’re being polite by not telling me. How do I avoid that? I also fear that I’ll seem like I’m trying to run away. I have Lupus, and though it’s not Cancer, I’m not afraid of illness.

ok, but "slaving" over a meal - there could be a better choice of words.

    • @thewanderingwolf7116

it probably does feel like "slaving" when you're tired after chemo treatments though.

@@thewanderingwolf7116 still... there are numerous other word choices to describe the feeling of exhaustion without having to compare it to slavery.

@@anechkagee5372 No need to be sensitive about a word. The definition of it doesn't change. Just because something negative happened doesn't make the whole word bad.

What a stupid libtard remark. And before you accuse her of making racist remarks, her husband is black.

If that’s the only thing you got out of this video that you felt the need to comment on I’m sorry and I hope you’re a better person now and realize this girl was literally dying in a painful way and you went out of your way to say something negative to her
