I’ve just come across your channel and you have no idea how much this video has made me smile. I am a first year electrical apprentice who had just graduated high school. I’ve always wanted to become a qualified electrician ever since I was young. My other passions include lighting and sound for the entertainment industry and teaching also. Your story has made me realise how valuable my apprenticeship is. Even if I know I don’t want to be an “electrician” forever, the knowledge and experience gained is invaluable. As a Queensland apprentice once, my story is very similar and I too left the electrical industry and no regrets, now retired and mess around with solar electrical a lot and now just so glad to have the trade behind me, it's priceless
