This is now a retrospective of where y’all started and shows how much has been done. It may not seem much is done day by day, but it sure does accumulate! It’s a testimony to living your dream, and an illustration that faith without works is dead.
I love these rides. Y'all have found your DREAM!! I am so happy for y'all. You have done such great work at bring this land back. Ain't nothing better than being in the woods. GOD BLESS!!
I miss riding the back roads like I did in my teenage and young adult years. It was so much fun and so peaceful. Maybe one day I will do it again. Just seems like there is so much that needs doing around here.
You've come a long way in a year. I know you are super busy getting everything ready for the move and all but don't forget to stop and enjoy some time with nature and remember your goals.
Love your property! We have a section that needs clearing but without a tractor, we have to do it by hand or hire someone for a day. Our goal is fencing also. It will have to wait until it cools down, it’s too hot!
So crazy. We have an area that I assume was a food plot. Towards the back in the woods we found a trail. It only has a bumper, no truck. We call it the bumper trail. 😂 Slowly but surely we are pushing through. Ours goes down slope to a creek across the width of the back of the property. Do you have ticks there? What do you do with all if the push down? Will you burn it? Did you say how big Pecan Grove approximately is?
We used to have some property in peach Creek Texas and we had a lot of cedar trees well one day someone came to our house and said they were Numberjacks. They would pay us for the cedar and Plum seedlings and we said OK. We didn’t have the equipment they know how to do something like this so they gave us a check for $1200 and they cleared out all the cedar trees that they wanted and they planted new ones in his place that was pretty good, because if not, it probably would’ve sat there and ride. I don’t even know, but it was still good and you probably do the same. Probably get somebody to pick up trees or accompany and give you a little money and clear them out of your way. Take them alone…
Unless you have all the equipment to do all that and cut the wood I don’t know if it’s called a planer or whatever it is you know to make the two by fours 2 x 6 and things like that

I always enjoy watching the deer graze as they cross the field next to my house & hear the occasional turkey gobbling! Enjoy!
I love the pine trees
