I remember two of my friends in school were Chelsea fans and really rubbed it in after winning in the first leg. After this game I barely said a word and stayed classy because I know how much getting to one of these finals means. After Milan took revenge they still tried to wind me up. From then on I knew that all Chelsea fans are knobs.

I just leave my cousin alone 99% of the time. The last time I properly him bifters was after the 6-0 City game last season.

One small detail I remember about this game is the image of Rafa calmly sitting cross-legged during the penalty shoot-out. Here's what he said about it afterwards:
"The Chelsea players were standing up in front of the bench, but the supporters were then asking them to sit.
We went to one side, but again the supporters couldn't see, so we sat down and watched. We were thinking about our people.
It's true I was really calm because I had a lot of confidence in Pepe. He is very good at penalties. Also, the players I selected had been practising. They'd played against Pepe and Jerzy in almost every training session. I had a lot of confidence."
Rafa was always calm. Sometimes a bit too calm, a big contrast to Klopp really geeing up his players!
This was my first game at Anfield, by far the best atmosphere I have ever witnessed

The Chelsea vs Liverpool rivalry was crazy from 05-15 that 10 year period. They faced each other so many times, not just ucl but in cup matches too.
Reina during Rafa's time was the penalty saving extraordinaire.

Rafa actually had a penalty taking system on his computer, as he said on Sky Sports a few years ago. He took details on all penalties taken by the opposition... Not only Reina, but remember Dudek also managed to save 2 penalties in Istanbul..
