Step One is to Remove the 12 Size Drain Bolt and Drain. Oil. Step Two is to Install the Drain Bolt Once the oil is Finished Draining. Step three is to Remove the 12 Size Filler Bolt. Step Four is to Filling Gear Oil. Step Five is to Install the Filler Bolt.
@@techeatvibes if you remove drain bolt first, and after draining old oil, what if you can't remove your fill plug?, there are some chances, that's why you have to loosen your filler plug first

Gearbox oil has a higher viscosity than engine oil and this is because it better protects the gears, ensuring you have a smooth transition between them. The higher viscosity is also essential due to the fact there is no pump to push the oil around the gearbox. Therefore, you cannot use engine oil in your gearbox.
Honda Dio doesn't have manual transmission gear, it is featured with "V-Matic transmission gear'' which means variomatic transmission, these are automatic gearboxes which have no gears as such for the user to change / shift.
Like the Engine oil gear oil is one of the Important thing need to be changed in constant interval the manual says 5000Km but its better to change it with every engine oil change. which would help your machine's transmission work smoother and longer(gear oil is pretty cheap when comparing to other consumables in scooters)
