Finding the joy in difficult conversations about death and dying:

Josephine To, Chair of AdPha's Palliative Care Leadership Committee, is a passionate practitioner in palliative care, for those who die in hospitals or other settings and those who go home to die. Her message to pharmacists is that being open and attentive to death and dying is not just for those who work in specialist palliative care, but for everyone working across hospitals and nursing homes, and also making sure that people who die at home, and their loved ones, are supported to the end. “I want pharmacists to feel that they are empowered to be involved in that type of care.”
