My friend in England still thinks it’s odd that we can send our young children off to school I keep telling her we have low crime rates and no weirdos around. I don’t think she believes me. Plus a strict immigration policy helps as well.
So many beautiful places in Japan...I love all the flowers!! The Ramen Museum is really neat to see all the ramens...I've never seen most of them. This is so interesting...this man's invention has spread world-wide now & it's always been so inexpensive too, probably why it took off & has stayed so popular. Sp dear that your boys share with one another. This is such a good experience for even adults, but I can see your boys really enjoyed seeing how ramen is made & even a play area for children. This was such a nice way to end the Spring holiday & I'm so happy for you all, that you got to spend it doing fun things together as a family...so important. I love leeks...they are so versatile & add such a nice, mild flavor to dishes...I use them when I made chicken, potato & leek pie. I would never have thought to eat ramen straight from the package, but I'm thinking if it's so fresh, then it might just be really tasty. Junky isn't bad if you don't do it all the time, I think & it's a fun thing to just do sometimes. I just loved this video so much, Linna...thank you so much for sharing your days. Cherries 🍒 tree and cherry blossom 🌸 tree is actually different, so there are no fruit from the Sakura tree 😅

Here it is almost the end of the school year. I think about 8 weeks total left (with a 2 week in a week time). So it's more crunch time here, working on my daughter's math grade. In a few weeks she'll get the first advice for secondary school, which level she can do. She really want to take the level with Latin and ancient Greek courses so she has to get her math grade up.
What a fun workshop making ramen! I used to love the seafood ramen from Nissin, nut haven't had it in years. We have the yakisoba style noodle here from Nissin. The original flavour is good, but what my friends in Japan always find so interesting is that we have a yakitori flavour. And it really smells like freshly grilled yakitori. I always send it to them as apparently it's not available in Japan. I never tought about adding an egg on top of instant ramen! I'm going to try that! You can add those ramen crunch to salad. It makes for a great flavour and crunch accent. Or coat you chicken with it for fried chicken.
I know those days you need to prepare dinner on time. My daughter started hapkido, a Korean martial arts, recently, twice a week so we have to eat early on those days.
Here, strawberry season is just beginning, but expensive still. Usually about 5 euros per package. But I found some on sale today, so my daughter will be happy.
I didn’t know there is Yakitori flavor cup noodle! In fact, there are many I don’t know I think 😅 Martial arts is good to built their strength physically and mentally, in my opinion 👍 I hope she will enjoy his new class ☺️💕

Ribs and salad look so good. Making me feel hungry just looking at them,so I am going out to buy some ribs and try the recipe with the salad and potatoes .Love watching your videos they are so inspiring about cooking and life in general.

How fascinating that instant noodle museum. So great for kids of all ages. Japan is incredibly lucky to have these wonderful facilities. Your spare ribs looked so appetising. In UK if you buy spare ribs all you get are bones with the tiniest amount of meat unless you get bone in belly pork and butcher them yourself 😂. What a wonderful hubby to treat you all to meals out so mummy could have a day off too. ❤❤👵🏴🌹🌹

They need more practice 😅 ¥300 for one pack of eggs is not very rare at other supermarkets here. But they will be bigger than what I get 😃

I am busy getting flower seeds and bulbs planted. Plus, every year I plant a little lawn for my dogs and cats to have a shady cool place to lay on hot summer days. Water bill is expensive so I have to be careful😔

I can understand how it feels. But I think some has a good reason, for example, I’ve heard there is nitrogen in some bags to keep the veggies fresh for a longer time.
You managed to pack a lot in with things to soon spring break. I too, used to book and plan different things to do when my son was on spring break. The Science Museum in London was always a good go to, also the Natural History Museum in London.
As much fun as we have on breaks, it’s always to get back to normal.

Oooooh I’d love to goto the cup ramen museum. The last museum I went to was the Cadbury chocolate factory museum, wasn’t my cup of tea as I’m not a big fan of chocolate. A non chocolate lover going to a chocolate museum!!!!

I think in the commercial for the chicken ramen...the egg catching thing....they made it so easy peasy,so next time. Tell the boys to keep their eye on the target so the egg will cook in its pocket hole
