I enjoyed this video so much. It's refreshing and heartwarming to see a close family relationship. You all enjoy each other's company and are united in the same value system. This is so lacking in our country today. God Bless you and your family.
I have always been fascinated by the Amish and Mennonite way of living and believes. I love reading books about them. So glad I stumbled on this on TH-cam. Thank you for sharing.
I can’t say enough how much I love the simplicity of Holmes County. There’s modern amenities, yes, but overall it’s very simple. Not crazy busy. Nobody rushing here or there. And the view from your grandparents home-GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing.
The wonderful smile on your Grandpa’s face said it all, looks like you made his day. Oaklynn was in her element with the animals, maybe a veterinarian of the future.
What a beautiful place! Thank You for sharing your faith and family with us. So refreshing. Keep sharing your videos. Just absolutely love you all. Blessings from KY
Lynette I really enjoyed this video !! What a beautiful land you grew up in. I loved Grandaddy & Grandmother's expression when you walked in !! So much love there !! 💓 Little Oaklynn is full of life and I must say she is your twin and loves the animals !! And I really enjoy hearing you share different thing's about the Amish. ❤ Baby Harper is definitely Nick !! I loved how so much love was shown between you and your family and the babies. Glad Oaklynn got to go to the little zoo. She is a cutie !! 💖💖
I've become a fan since you mentioned JESUS CHRIST in a previous video. I find it so refreshing to hear a Christian speak their faith. It is uplifting to hear HIS name outside of church.

Oh my gosh, Holmes County is so beautiful ! Its so different from Sarasota. It makes me just want to kick off my sandals and run thru the lush grass ! The baby goats !!! 💞 Also enjoyed the great farm you visited. Love seeing little clips of your mom, sisters and family up there. Thanks for taking us along. P.S. your daughters are adorable !
@@LynetteYoder Was your family possibly not involved in the wedding because you are not Amish any longer and not allowed to participate? Also, are non-Amish, non-Mennonite acquaintances, ever invited to the weddings or reception? I am new to your channel as you can tell. If my questions are too forward, I apologize.
Such a beautiful place! You have a wonderful family as well. This brings back so many lovely memories of growing up Mennonite and my large family getting together. Thank you for sharing your life with us. God bless you and those you love ❤
Loved this video so much. What wonderful fun surprise for your family. Little Oaklyn looks like she had so much fun with the goats and all the animals…she seems like she has grown up so much in the last few videos. I loved listening to her talking to everyone. Holmes County is our favorite place in the world to visit…we always call it God’s country. Such a truly beautiful peaceful place and so many ways to enjoy your time there. I’m always anxious to learn more about Amish life, so I appreciated your talk about the old and the new Amish. Thank you sooo much for sharing this video. It was so beautiful…I really enjoyed it 💕💕
Wow the majestic setting, rolling hills, rainbow sky, groomed farms and extended family with good food. What more could you ask for? Such a beautiful setting to live in peaceful and serene. Great video that I will rewatch!
I have thoroughly enjoyed your wedding videos😍 The floral arrangements, place settings, food, friends and family are every young woman’s dream. You’re such a lovely ambassador to all things Amish. Blessings🙏🏻❤️
Interesting seeing my community on display!! Summertime in Ohio is splendid! Glad to see you made it to Hershberger’s I knew Oaklyn would love feeding all the animals.
Its so nice to see a close knit family! Im so glad I found your channel. Its encouraging to see other believers and watch you and your family live out your faith💙✝️ Its easy to feel very different than this world (and we should be) just nice to know there are people out their who value faith and family like I do!
That picture of Harper in the beginning! She's adorable and, I hope you don't mind me saying, funny to boot. All the family and seeing the animals out and about is such a good time.
This was just perfect. I went to see a client and had the buffet by myself at Der Dutchman. Then I went across the street to Carlisle gifts and bought a little something. Then I went to my favorite place, Walnut Creek Market. I also love Broadrun and love their wine, but can't resist the beautiful gifts in that place! Watching your video was like the "icing on the cake". Most beautiful scenery you can see in the United States! Thanks, Lynette!
Something I have noticed about Mennonite and Amish weddings - the florals are always stunning! You all have such a talent for choosing colors/composition/arranging. Just beautiful. Loved seeing Oaklynn with all the animals - she's such a sweet child. Your kids are all so cute!
They certainly know how to have a wedding -- they can change a gym into a wedding reception and you wouldn't know it is a gym....and I love how the whole community gets together and helps out! Very classy receptions!
Oh, I love so much seeing the old familiar sights of Holmes County. I enjoyed hearing the German preaching and the singing at the wedding. So glad you had the chance to visit with your family. Really enjoyable visit, Lynette, thanks for taking us along. The wedding looked lovely, the flowers so beautiful and all the horses... Is a huge amount of work - I think that's what always scares me about weddings it's so much work for everyone. (I had the smallest wedding possible!) Do hope your cousin will be very fulfilled & happy. Very glad to see Grandad getting out with the family, it's so hard when mobility issues make getting about a drama, but he seemed to enjoy seeing the animals. I think Oakland would like to be a farmer, she loves it doesn't she? Take care & keep well - do love Holmes County.

What a treat this video was. Thank you so much for sharing the Amish traditions and all the beautiful countryside and quaint towns. So sweet seeing the surprise reaction of your family. See you soon. ❤️💕❤️🙏😊
How beautiful this all turned out. This brought beautiful memories when I went to my Aunt and Uncle’s 60th Wedding Anniversary in Galion, Ohio. They had asked my parents to be their Godparents~Best Man and Maid of Honor to renew their vows. Mind you, we lived in Los Angeles, Ca. So this was a beautiful and memorable trip. Also, my Dad came to Pittsburg, Penn., for work in the early 1940’s I don’t know how long but I remember seeing a picture of him in the snow laying down RR tracks. He was sent down with many men, I guess some kind of Treaty with the Government. My parents and siblings lived in Mexico City. years later my parents got their green cards and came to live in L.A. and later I was born. So we had an opportunity to drive up there to show us where he worked but was not able to find it, Being this Was NOW in the year 1973. HOW IT CHANGED. we enjoyed the drive…now M♥️M of 5, plus thirteen grandkidzz
My son lives in the Toledo area. Friends near Cincinnati. I could live there - EXCEPT for the snow.... winter. Your family live in a beautiful area (in the spring/summer fall).. lOL
I love little goats too , cuteness overload right there . Oaklyn is definitely an animal lover , she was having a ball . Lovely wedding congratulations to the happy couple lovecand blessings today and always . God bless 🙏💙💜
What a wonderful surprise for your lovely family. The look on your grandparent's faces were priceless especially when they saw Oaklynn! The wedding was so beautiful-I had never seen the food prep area of an Amish wedding before-so interesting. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video....
Thank you so much Lynette for taking us along on this one trip you took, I’m always interested in the Amish lifestyle. We have Amish in our area a little north of where I live in Indiana.
How wonderful to be in such a beautiful place surrounded by kind, loving, supportive family. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous! Wishing the bride and groom a blessed life together. Hopefully one day I will visit this wonderful place. Thanks for explaining some of the differences with the Old and New Amish. I always have been attracted to and interested in learning more about these special people.
I love this. Thank you for sharing this absolutely beautiful service. I have read about Amish weddings, but have never seen one. I am from Mercer County in PA and grew up surrounded by Amish. My husband and I have been to Mt. Hope several times.
Lynette, those roses were just beautiful. It looked like a lovely venue and so glad you were able to bring the girls. Wishing them the best future and much happiness. Thanks for sharing
I really enjoyed your video. It reminded me when I was visiting in Holmes County Miller'sburg. I was so impressed with how the Amish young girls conducted themselves.
The video is so interesting. I love the beauty of the area...I think it is the care that the Amish put into all that they do. I have a wedding business and truly enjoy seeing all that they do for their kids. Thank you for filming.
What a great video! It’s wonderful learning about other ways of life. The wedding was nothing like I expected. It was much more modern than what I thought it would be. It was beautiful.
Could you share a video of how your sister makes the yogurt please? I’d like to try. My mother tried it years ago but it didn’t work. Your sister’s looks great!
Lynette, I just LOVE & am so grateful for your Pa. videos. Makes me feel like "home". This Pa girl misses her mountains, farms. What a beautiful family you have! Love & Blessings from Jax
Thank You for bringing us along on your beautiful trip!! Oaklynn with the baby goats and farm animals was so cute! Moving back to Ohio from Florida soon and can't wait.
It looks like you had a great time with your family! My husband Joe and I were just down in Holmes County on July 7th for Hat Day at Miller's Dry Goods in Charm. Then drove past Herschberger's on our way to Walnut Creek Cheese to buy a few things. From there, it was on to Mt. Hope to visit the Lone Star Quilt Shop. Finally we had lunch in Fredericksburg on our way home. You had a Fun day and so did we!
Wow.... That takes this former old order amish gal from Ontario, Canada back to before I left home at 18.As you say so many groups and each have their own differences not sure how many different groups there are now, I am sure way more than there used to be in 1990's and way way back then I know a Ontario preacher said in North America there was over 150 groups of different amish groups, as you know being mennonite that does not even count all the different groups of mennonite,my hubby and I are also a non affiliated mennonite group in Canada. I tell ya hearing that music, had me go back to not just amish music but the hard wooden old order amish benches we used to have to sit on in church for up to 3 hours or more depending on what church service was happening...I do gotta say it sounds so AMAZING when all of Gods children sing His praises regardless of the church they attend...That singing was a blast from the past indeed, thanks for sharing your life and those snippets its so interesting to see how a U.S. Amish wedding is comparded to a Ontario Amish wedding, very different in many ways, so interesting indeed, again thank you and appreciate your channel and you sharing your life you have truly been blessed with a beautiful family, your children are the sweetest, from one former old order amish girl in Ontario, Canada to one former amish girl in the U.S. I just want to say praying blessings of overflow in all areas of your lives...Thanks again for sharing.
Lynette..I live about an hour and 15 min north of Berlin/Walnut Creek area so we enjoy coming into the community at least once a year if not twice. We’re getting ready to come down and stay for our 35th Anniversary for a couple of nights and wondered if you had some shops/restaurants that maybe aren’t as well know as Berlin, Sugarcreek and Walnut Creek? Thanks so much, I enjoy your videos and how you explain the Amish values.
Holmes County looks so tranquil and I'm glad you got to take the girls! Glad you got the black and white shirt; it looked nice! Congratulations to your cousin and her new groom!
Thank you so much, Lynette, for taking us along. Family, food and togetherness, wherever it will be, is special and wonderful. To watch your families love for each other makes my heart warm.
Oh, Lynette. I am so thankful for this video. You showed memories of my family (Old Order- Geauga County)! And the love for the Lord and for family. What a delight for you and the girls to surprise everyone!!! Thank you! Oh, and O and the baby goats!!❤️
What a treat! 🥰 I loved it when you take us back to your hometown. My favorite scenery is watching the hillside and sunset. You make my heart so happy to know that there is such a beautiful place existed here nearby even though I live in California. I enjoyed watching your family and seeing their loving welcome to you and your little girls every time you go to visit them. You have a very loving and wonderful family. God’s goodness and peace be with you and your family. Thank you for sharing this video. Also, I am glad to see you are happy again 😊🥰. Blessings!
I loved your grandmas expression and what she said when you surprised her 😂😂 edited to say , I was driving all around Holmes county this past weekend,I almost got whip lash from looking so fast driving through the scenic country side , spend overnight in Millersburg at our son and daughter-in-law place . Then visited Oasis church Sunday morning so seen more . I just need to go pacifically to shop ! Seen so many places I would have loved to snoop around!
Thanks for creating this video. I've been invited to an Amish wedding next year and it gives me an idea of what to expect. Having been to an Amish church service and a funeral, I just absolutely admire the sense of community and simplicity of it all!
Lynette, this was a wonderful video to see! I feel like in the last few videos, I have sensed you struggling a little, with moving, house hunting and new baby Harper, that’s a lot. And I know you were home recently for a wedding, but I really feel like this trip was the refreshment you needed so badly. There’s some places in our souls that only family can fill. Cherish those moments and hold them dear and close to your heart. We laid my dear brother to rest this morning, and it really hit home for me.
It does my heart so good to see the love and closeness your family has as I too have that and feel I am blessed it is so beautiful there in Ohio my mom lives in Centerville we live in fl thank you so much for sharing all the beauty and sharing God's love
I love this, and you and your family so much!! I have a question...why do you wear a black cap and I see so many others wear white ones? Back before Oaklynn, I thought maybe it was because you were married and your sisters were not. However, I now see that that's not the case. So I have great respect and I always have had for Amish and Mennonite etc, so this is just a very very polite question but I know that you're open to answering these things for us. God bless all of you and thank you for sharing everything that you do with us. You're very open about sharing your family and about Amish and Mennonite etc and that's very graciously and gratefully accepted thank you so much.
It’s just preference for me at this point. I find it shows less dirt .. and I like black. However I used to wear white all the time :) the churches my sisters go to vary on their head coverings. Erica’s church decided to wear white veils. And Kara’s wear a lot of black. But I think they have the option to choose what they’d like to wear there as well.
Thank you for taking us along on your wedding trip. I LOVE when you share the scenery around the area you are traveling! Your family is so beautiful and how special that you have your grandparents. I love learning about the Amish; they live such a loving beautiful life! I'll have to check out your testimonial video!! Blessings on your day!
Love the "local" videos. We love going to Hershbergers when they have their family nights, eventhough my kids are grown now, they still like to go and we take my little nieces and nephews too. Leaf and Linen has become a favorite of me and my daughter.
A lovely wedding! My daughter and son-in-law were invited to a Amish wedding last year and really enjoyed it. She said the food was delicious. Oaklyn was so cute with the goats! I am always fascinated with King Buck at Hershbergers! He's huge!! I really enjoyed this video.
I love learning about the Amish. I think it is beautiful. All weddings are beautiful no matter what the religion it is, but this one is massive too! Thank you for sharing, I find this very interesting. I also love the black and white blouse on you.
I have a question, it’s coming from a place of understanding and my ignorance. I’m curious why one woman was wearing an all blue dress and the other women were wearing all versions of skirts and shirts? Is it a preference?I’m trying to understand. It’s always heartwarming to see families that are so close and so full of love. Have a great day!
I enjoyed this video so much. It's refreshing and heartwarming to see a close family relationship. You all enjoy each other's company and are united in the same value system. This is so lacking in our country today. God Bless you and your family.

What a treat this video was. Thank you so much for sharing the Amish traditions and all the beautiful countryside and quaint towns. So sweet seeing the surprise reaction of your family. See you soon. ❤️💕❤️🙏😊
How beautiful this all turned out. This brought beautiful memories when I went to my Aunt and Uncle’s 60th
Wedding Anniversary in Galion, Ohio.
They had asked my parents to be their Godparents~Best Man and Maid
of Honor to renew their vows. Mind you, we lived in Los Angeles, Ca. So this was a beautiful and memorable
trip. Also, my Dad came to Pittsburg, Penn., for work in the early 1940’s I don’t know how long but I remember
seeing a picture of him in the snow
laying down RR tracks.
I could live there - EXCEPT for the snow.... winter. Your family live in a beautiful area (in the spring/summer fall).. lOL
I loved the memory quote to those passed on. Thanks Lynette enjoyed very much
❤️ Family . . . such a beautiful blessing! ❤️ Thanks for the lovely tour. Oaklyn was so cute with all the animals. A little Miss Doolittle. 😉
Welcome back to Ohio Lynnette. The steamy days started early this year. The girls are adorable. 🌹
Such a wonderful video. The wedding looked beautiful as your sisters did also. The flower arrangements are stunning.Thank You for sharing.
Just how simple and absolutely beautiful this wedding is🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Such a beautiful state!... Looks so peaceful. Your sister is such a great aunt to your children!
Could you share a video of how your sister makes the yogurt please? I’d like to try. My mother tried it years ago but it didn’t work. Your sister’s looks great!
It’s actually from Positively Amy here on TH-cam I think. But I’m not sure on the specific video.
I so enjoyed everything about this video. Thank you for taking us along! 😀
Always fun to follow along as you go back home. This was so cute! Oaklynn with the baby goats. Sneezes by Harper. Just too cute!🥰
Very sweet video. I grew up in Wayne and Holmes Counties and recently moved back from Columbus. I love this area.
Enjoyed your video! Oaklyn feeding the animals and then riding the pony was precious! Her facial expressions were priceless. ❤️
👌🏽 Wayne Weaver is actually my Great uncle. Martha, his wife is my grandmas sister !
Interesting !
Thanks for creating this video. I've been invited to an Amish wedding next year and it gives me an idea of what to expect. Having been to an Amish church service and a funeral, I just absolutely admire the sense of community and simplicity of it all!
I miss Amish country. The most beautiful part of Ohio! Thank you Lynette.
The singing is lovely and adds such a spiritual element to the wedding.
Thank you for sharing this, Lynette. I have a lot of respect for how the Amish live.
What a wonderful family
You’re so blessed
Beautiful countryside
And of course the food looked so good
It does my heart so good to see the love and closeness your family has as I too have that and feel I am blessed it is so beautiful there in Ohio my mom lives in Centerville we live in fl thank you so much for sharing all the beauty and sharing God's love
The look on are grandma’s face was priceless
I love how your sisters love on your babies!
What a delightful video! Your family is so awesome! What a heritage your family has! You are so blessed!
Happy you could see your Grandparents, and Oakland could spend time with them! Ohio is a beautiful state!👍❤️
Love the "local" videos.
Are you saying - the Amish ladies? Or my mom and sisters and I? It’s just a difference in churches or convictions
@@LynetteYoder your mom and sisters.
That was so much fun! Thanks for taking us along!!! 🥰❤️
What a beautiful family. Oaklyn is so sweet, I love her expressions. 💕💕💕
