Being new to this message, it sounds insane.
Not to pass judgement, but it seems to be a massive shift in 'understanding' and not something that just 'clicks' in to place (certainly not for me).
It's understandable that people 'grapple' with this message.
I feel William's difficulties in understanding this. It's understandable... and there in lies the problem. It's not understandable!
The easy part is that there is nothing to get.

Hi, the one that wants to end the seeking is the illusion itself, the seeker and the seeking is an illusion of being someone, right?
Yes, more than that, the seeker and the seeking IS the One who is the Illusion. This Presence „now here“ is an object, it is not you. And you are all and nothing both but not knowing itself.
Only illusion is the sense of self/ the seeker. Seeking is something that happens, that’s part of the appearance. The presence, is the sense of self.

There is always the possibility, that it can happen due to constant repetition of this / brainwashing .
Andreas said that this can’t be understood ( yes, because there is no one to understand it), but there can be understanding regarding this, on its own without anyone, same like there is understanding regarding anything else . Saying it’s whole and complete, there is no inside or outside, etc. is an understanding 🤷🏼♂️
The language used by the speakers seems to be sometimes purposely misleading . Yes, this can be understood / there can be an understanding regarding this, but the question is, if the understanding is correct, which unfortunately can’t be known.
No. No. No. Where there is understanding, there is an understander. There can be no understanding of anything. Period. Language gets in the way, but really, so what? Understanding and not understanding are part of the appearance. "I do not even know that I do not know," might be a better way to express it.

I would love to say what i think about this but TH-cam rules are i have to be respectful to people even though they are an illusion. So I'm just going to say namaste 🙏 which is disrespectful to no one 😉
Oh yea I could see how it would rub you the wrong way it does with me too, I think when they say self is an illusion, they actually mean that the self exists but that it is unlike how you have perceived it, I think that people in these non-dual community's should stay clear of non-dual terms because Illusion is so loaded, just say that it is different from how it was previously understood, but then you would need to define understanding. My approach would be to use Philosophy terms for describing non-duality as that field vocabulary that describes our subjective experience in parts. I think that these interpretive vagueness is from having abandoned thousands of years old texts that had its own vocabulary that described the phenomenology of enlightenment. Now we have to use meaningful concepts and that were philosophy can hope to pick up the growing pains.
