- I'm back from my exam not-really-hiatus! Here's a piano arrangement of K.'s "Lamprey Hole", which I LOVE. In it, he uses loads of cool chord extensions that land so well with the electronica backbeat.
I took a bunch of creative liberties near the end, and also a little with the verses where the bass was a 'lil repetitive. Said verses were also very loosely inspired by Kapustin. Overall, I tried to keep the feel of the original while also making it more pianistic.

Ooh! Never knew about this song before, thanks for cluing me in! I listened to the original and it's TOTALLY my vibe as well. This piano rendition takes it a very lovely direction too! Though those lyrics are...something else. XD What a story.
No prob, and thanks! All of this dude's songs have very cryptic lyrics. There was one comment on the reupload that theorised the two "people" in the song were really fish; they both entered the mouth of a lamprey eel, and one got eaten...
@@FiveNineSquared it really isn't that cryptic if you look at in a more literal way as weird as that sounds XD I genuily think koronba just wanted to make weird songs with sea creatures becoming man killing monsters man I miss him
I guess the fun thing about surrealism like that is that it's up to our interpretation. I won't doubt that there isn't some deeper meaning behind the lyrics, but it's just fun to imagine what they could imply! Same sentiments here, but as someone who found out about koronba after he left, I'm also sad I wasn't a fan of him back in his 'heyday'.
@@FiveNineSquared Yep it sure is. Back in the day Koronba had a lot of things going on, even developing a fangame thingy for a game called Yume Nikki but you know what happened and that project got abandoned sadly.

Thanks! I used a soundfont (this one: sites.google.com/site/soundfonts4u/ - "Yamaha-C5-Salamander-JNv5.1"). The audio was directly from Musescore, I didn't play it myself hahah
