Hope I don’t look like an amateur when the lever was sticky during the first shots. 😂 I should have edited that out but decided to keep it so you can see what to expect with a new lever action Marlin.
I had to clean mind before I could fire it, went to rack the 1st round in and the lever locked up. It’s been 100% from there on with the last $350 range session. Ouch!!!
I was watching a movie about starting SGT. York and before they went to the range, they had to clean their weapons that sounds like a good idea to clean the weapons before you go to the range
Thank you for the comment. I felt foolish when it got sticky but decided to include it rather than edit it out so people can see what to expect with the first shots.
Just bought the Henry X model in 45-70. Put a radical arms compensator on the end and used the FTX 250gr rounds. Hardly any kick at all, and the 250's group better than the 325gr ammo 😉
I hope you have good luck with your henry rifle. I bought one 3 weeks ago (granted a brass version) and she was having problems. she is back with henry hoping they can fix her.
Thank you for your critique. I appreciate hearing from viewers on how to improve. This is a learning process and I hopefully I will continue to improve and create interesting content people find entertaining, and instructional to build a larger audience.
Large caliber lever actions are a great addison to any arsenal! Love it!
Yes they are!

I have a 45-70 Henry. Did the same thing when new.

My next review coming out soon will be the Marlin Dark Series 45-70 with suppressor.

A que distancia esta tirando. Porque mostraron el blanco y no me parecieron buenos los disparos. EL CALIBRE ESCEPCIONAL. ES EL QUE MASS ME GUSTA ❤❤❤
First shots on the paper targets were 22 yards. (About 20m)
After that I was aiming for a steel target at 65 yards (about 59m) but I missed.
Load your own for 1\2 that cost per bullet. 100 year old caliber says something that's for sure.
Was that your fault or the gun's fault when you had trouble ejecting the round?
No, not my fault on that. Action is just stiff and needs to be broke in.
Wonderfuel Rifle , looks very very nice, but you mast give a little bit of oil !
Agreed! I have the “Dark” model I will be doing a video on soon. I will be prepared on this one. 😀
Your selling you not the rifle, share something your followers can relate to. Relax
