I love what you did with this. I have to admit, when I listen to the original full version of the piece, the Elder Scrolls motif that underpins it all tends to get a bit lost with the full orchestra (the one that Jeremy Soul used in Morrowind, and has become something of the thematic underpinning of the soundtrack for the franchise since) except in a few pieces. But in this version of it it comes out so much more strongly, and I have to admit, as a nostalgic note, it really hits the spot. Well done.

And man, ever since I've started playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 I've had that thought in my head: what would one of its flute-heavy tracks (like "a life sent on") sound like as a "Colm edition"?
(Fun fact: the makers of the game hired professionals to create real life replicas of the flutes 2 of the main characters use, and those were used for recording the songs. And the result is amazing!)

So I am firmly of the opinion that big, full, orchestras have a place in OSTs, however it dont like that directors of both games and movies seem to put them as the center piece of nearly everything nowadays (atleast Hollywood does) I much prefer when a studio takes a cultural reference for a game/movie and uses said cultures unique instruments. Almost all cultures had one, or if not a unique instrument, a unique style with a more wide spread instrument. It just adds a beautiful layer of deoth to any OST.
    You do beautiful work btw.
