    ✔️Shot form is literally Paul George’s early shot form.
    ✔️Scrappy defensive rebounder and off ball defender looks like a young Jimmy Butler
    ✔️On ball defense is very precise, risky, however it’s also inconsistent but I like that he takes risks to get steals, blocks, loose balls, and overall stops reminds me of a young Kawhi Leonard from SDSU
    ✔️inconsistent 3 point shooter but had very good confidence in his shot, like to shoot pull ups and shoot off the dribble or take a defender one on one it reminds me of J.R. Smith.
    ✔️Elite mid range shooter, likes to shoot off balance uses turn arounds and faders to easily score. This reminds me of some great players, he creates space for his mid like Demar DeRozan, Kawhi Leonard, and with a high release some what like Larry Bird, I’m not comparing him to Larry I’m saying they happened to have liked to score the same way in the same manner many other greats do the same.
    ✔️Great Playmaker reads defenses well sets up great shots for teammates off of a drive. This reminds me of Evan Turner or a younger Tyreke Evans.
    ✔️Lastly he has stealthy athleticism he glides up for and oops or sometimes over powers defenders, and even blows by them with quick bursts of speed, I can’t really compare this to anyone except maybe Jimmy Butler but I’d say Butler uses his athleticism more frequently this is a good tool to have.
    My point is that he was a good pick, hopefully he turns out to be a great pick but years before in other drafts players like Culver would have been picked later in the draft, but since Kawhi Leonard is one of the greatest players in the game now and Paul George an MVP contender, people are looking for scrappy Jimmy Butler like players who are low profile like Adre Iguadala but players like this change games and are looked for now in drafts and take account that he went to the National Championship with the Red Raiders, Jarrett Culver is serious business I believe with TIME he’ll develop into a great player not right away, his shot form needs a little work much like Paul George’s form early on with the Pacers. Maybe the most important factor is how the Timberwolves train and handle his talent where to plug him in offensively and how to improve his technique defensively.

    • @JTGSTAR07
      @JTGSTAR07 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      RoZ he’s a boom or bust player. I think he has potential to be a superstar but the floor is low. I think culver has the chance to be a jimmy butler type player but he comes in with a higher floor but he may not have a higher potential than reddish. If lakers like reddish they should trade down for him and pick up a few other assets

    • @fjo9492
      @fjo9492 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Josh Tyson he just seems like an average SG too me. Not really great at anything but a future solid SG. Guy I like is Darius Garland who can also play in the backcourt even if he’s a point guard with Lonzo. Problem is the defense but offensively just check out the few games he had. The speed, skill, IQ but most importantly the shooting and ability to create his own shot I believe can translate in the NBA. I hope he’s fully healthy and can prove that in the workouts. He’s just got those offensive skills to be like a Devin Booker, CJ McCullom or Lillard who some compare him too. Defense is gonna come with Lonzo and I’m rooting for Kawhi to come 😉

    • @JTGSTAR07
      @JTGSTAR07 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      FJO 9 I like what I saw from garland and the shooting would help but he like the ball in his hands. Culver has Jimmy Butler potential I think, he’s a very hard worker and that shows on the defensive end. On the offensive end he’s good at everything but needs a bit of refining which I think will come with his work ethic. He won’t be asked to do much to begin with and he can focus on defence as his offensive game comes along. I think he can reach Jimmy Butlers level personally, they have very similar styles and the shows in their similar college stats culver may even have the edge

    • @jaycool9480

      Lakers need a shooting guard who can create for his own which they don't have. They also need a 6th man off the bench who can give them a scoring punch and lead the 2nd unit. Even though Hunter is the better prospect, Culver may be the pick simply because of shooting guard needs and also that 6th man slot sorely lacking.

    Not sold JC’s Laker’s guy If they don’t trade the #4 pick. He’s only 6’6 195 lbs with an average Jump shot at best and Is “Ok” on Defense. Cam Reddish Is 6’8 215 lbs at the 2, one of the best defenders In the draft, and has potential to be a lights out shooter with 7’1 Wingspan. He didn’t do as good as many hoped In the the shadow of Zion and Barrett, but he fits what Lakers need desperately! They need DEFENSE and SHOOTERS around Lebron. Not to mention he was hanging with Lebron not too far back In LA 🤔.

    • @jaycool9480

      Dave Peterson I share the same sentiment. I’d take a gamble on garland or go with the safe bet hunter before I picked up culver. Culver got shut down by hunter in the championship game I just feel like under the brightest lights hunter showed up and showed out and that matters a whole lot.

      Its either or for me. They need a 2 guard badly who can create their own shot which they dont have. They have enough 3s. Hunter is more 3 than he is a 2 but they both would be good picks. Could be that 6th man off the bench and play that Lou williams or Crawford type role cuz they need a 6th man.

    This kid needs to be the Lakers pick in the draft this year.. would be a great player to have along LeBron James.. and a player who could learn a whole lot from him as well. You want a really good basketball education.. convince the Lakers to pick you.. You and perhaps some other super star coming to the Lakers and LeBron.. instant playoff team.. just how far you would all go.. no telling.. but I see you every bit as good as or better then your counterpart for the Warriors.. Clay Thompson.. and I am betting if you were assigned to cover Clay.. his game would be greatly diminished.. he would not be scoring as much as we see him score against many other teams today.. Keep working on that 3 point shot.. its a must in todays game.. repetition, repetition repetition.. turns into muscle memory.. same with free throws.. muscle memory from repetition.

      Lakers need a shooting guard, Culver is a pure 2, Hunter is more of a 3 than a 2 but Garland I can't see it cuz if they take Garland, they may move on from Lonzo which I think they should do cuz he's a liability when it comes to shooting and free throws. But with Kidd as AC, I think lonzo is here to stay. They'll take Culver or Hunter.

    Dunks tell us nothing. Does he ball watch or block out with skill and aggression? Does he have a high motor on D? Does he set a proper pick and turn the right way on the roll? Is he in the right place at the right time in man to man? Is his on ball D good? What are his work habits? Is he me first? Can he create a high percentage shot? Does he understand change of pace in order to make the D decide ala Doncic? Dunk highlights are useless for NBA evaluations!
