- Tempers flare between Texas and Texas Tech in the second half after the Longhorns’ Brock Cunningham received a flagrant 2 for a hard foul while going for a loose ball. Red Raiders fans would throw things onto the floor, which would result in a technical foul for the home team.

Old school basketball 🤷♂️ I swear it’s people like yourself that call basketball “soft” nowadays and then a player does something like this and y’all complain.
Anyone else suprised that 5 on Texas Tech: 1) popped up immediately after landing chest first on the scorers table and 2) didn't immediately try to deck 30 for the cheap shot.
I missed the hit on my first watch, but going by the look on his face I figured they must've done a good job holding him back.
Turns out he had really good restraint of his own. Respect earned.
More restraint than that cheap shot by 30. That's bush league BS.
He got up quick and definitely said something, just didn’t add extra to it. But if you’re trying to make it to the league, scouts see this and judge the reaction. Composure matters. Young man’s got a good head on his shoulders
that's maturity he & the rest of the TT handled things well unlike Texas & cowardly cunningham or the TT fans.
That was textbook self-restraint. Dude is incredibly level-headed. Props to #5 on TT.

As a Texas fan I give props to the Tech player for standing up for his teammate and I give props to the Texas players (other than Brock) to quickly diffuse the situation so it didn't get any uglier than it already did. This was just ugly for both teams. Made the tech fanbase look crazy (your already down by 25 why throw stuff on the court?) and it made the Texas player look horrible (why do that when you are up 25?. Did he mean to do that? Not sure, but they way he acted after was not a good look). Not a good look for either team. Maybe it is a good thing both teams will be taking a long break from each other 😅"That good basketball" yeahhhh ok.... I wouldn't classify bodying someone as good basketball lol
A longhorn fan on TH-cam with proper logic and level-headed comments. I can’t believe it 😅😂. Good comment
Two comments, first, the announcer said that is just good basketball? Are you kidding me? That was the most flagrant foul I have seen in college basketball in years. Second, back to the flagrant foul, I don’t think Tech should have received a technical. When a player so flagrantly commits a foul, and then essentially brags about it, the fans have a right to object.

It was dirty. Plain and simple. He should be banned for one game.
I'm a defensive guy, but i hate dirty play and cheap shots! Even if there was a running beef throughout the game, that could cost players injuries or worse. smh
cunningham deserved to get tossed, but his hip check was probably targeted for a reason. #5's offensive foul earlier in the game (elbow to Abmas's head) was why Abmas was knocked out of the game for a while and was wearing that big ol bandage.

@@marcus813 What is very interesting about Cleveland is that cetain parts of Cleveland I have seen look similar to my hometown of Virginia (Hampton) to be exact.
THAT was a rough play - totally uncalled for and borderline violent.
The game was physical (i.e., violent) from start to finish. More fouls should have been called earlier. Sometimes the refs let the physical play get out of hand. Contact made when you are going for the ball is legal. Excessive contact calls for a foul. In this case, the player was ejected.

"Thats just good basketball.. thats a foul.. thats a flagrant, maybe flagrant 2" 😂
not a basketball play at all
It wasn’t just "interesting"
It was an intentional tackle which was extremely brutal and beyond "unsportsmanlike" conduct…. Ramming him into a that table that someone could’ve been seriously injured. #30 should’ve been ejected right away. Penalty should also be monetary fines and kicked off the team and possibly expelled from school. There’s obvious tension on the court but that was disturbing sickening and almost criminal behavior. Head Coach should be fined and suspended for 3 games. There’s already concerns about storming the court and now this and throwing things. Fans can scream all they want but don’t throw things on the court ever. Embarrassing for The Big 12 Conference and the NCAA Men’s Basketball Association etc. Who’s going to set a good example? There’s gotta be severe consequences for his behavior. And the fans should be ashamed of themselves. Next time things get thrown on the court. Permanent Ban from each individual. And again, #30 shouldn’t be allowed to play the rest of the season and his scholarships taken away. As well as hefty fines. Horrible
Anyone who throws things on to the court needs to be ejected and banned from ever attending a game at that arena again!
