What do you think makes Leroy so strong? His annoying parries? The reliability of his moves and strings? The punishment game? What do you like or hate about him the most?
I feel like it's a situation of having such a ridiculous defensive baiting game. It really shuts down a lot of people's shenanigans. I absolutely adore him for that. But I feel it's the UI Goku issue of having ALL of these options that make him infuriating for the opponent. I can't talk about his offense, as I'm still getting a feel for it. But I can tell his defenses are just **chef's kiss** bellissimo
This is my ideal format for guides. I'm a beginner so it's difficult to absorb knowledge I feel. But this guide was absolutely perfect for me. Keep up the fantastic work. And I appreciate you finding fgc members that actually main these people. I'll be sure to watch more King Jae for his awesome Leroy.
Basic Leroy scrub killer flow chart to get out of green ranks : d3,2 (on hit) into Hermit 3,4 into d1,2,4 into Hermit 4, 1+2. This sequences beats all opponents that panic mash unless they duck and block the lows. If they duck after d3,2 then hit em him with the Hermit 4,1+2 straight away or to continue pressure Hermit b1. Also after b2 parry hits hellsweep is in range. If they conditioned to duck after parry you can hit them with orbital or 2 1+2 launch. Leroy is stupid easy to cheese haha
Bro as a beginner this is so confusing haha. I just wanna play the game and don’t want to watch everytime a guide. I have like 60 hours in this game now I really like it and I am getting better and better but dude it is so hard as a beginner to get into this. Especially to know like what these combos mean in Videos. For a beginner it is nearly impossible to get gud in this game without any TH-cam guides.
@@yasinkaradogan9653 I play best with kazumi and alisa but I am no where near to mastering them. I am still learning leroy tho. I want to master these 3 first.
@@yasinkaradogan9653 Youre so right my bad. 1,2,3,4 is (in order) square, triangle, X and circle. D3,2 is down+X then triangle . From there he goes into his hermit stance. Press x then circle for a low-mid hitting combo. When opp tries to interrupt after that press d+square, triangle, circle to go back into stance. Then when they try interrupt again press circle then square+triangle. Will catch out most your mates if they dont play tekken.
Got back into tekken 7 recently haven't played because of gb cost on pc. I decided to uninstall a bunch of games to convert to tekken 7 again, and now I love leroy even more because I'm more wise and careful after playing a few games that require quick thinking, and patience. Still using ai in treasure battle to practice with leroy for pvp, but I need more tips first
@@stachujones2936 nah cuz i used to just mess about with characters, never truly put in effort to learn them properly. Then leroy pops out of nowhere. Played him since release never put him down
@@MadMylesy Well if you like to play him it ok, but playing mainly char like Leroy who is basically broken DLC even after the nerfs wont allow you to pregress as much as playing chars who require real skill and fundemantals to achive something, for example you will never learn how to deal with presure in neutral cuz with Leroy you can spam parry and get out of hard situations in dumb way, you will never get better with your execution cuz his combos even hard ones are like sample easy combos for main roster etc. in long way leroy will carry you more than you carry leroy with your skill witch make your rank inadequate to your real skill
