    Nothing like a charm in Nigeria music. Listen, learn and strategize your style, It is as simple as that. But when every country in Africa continues to push for its own, it certainly means yours too will not be played elsewhere. I will advocate for a good beat, vibes, and quality output of the song. If all these pushes hold, it won't affect Nigeria neither will It diminish its height in Africa, because Nigeria is global.

    • @shalbec3232
      @shalbec3232 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wait no don't think Nigeria is all global because not all COUNTRIES in Africa even watch nollywood or stuff from Nigeria or play it music , Nigerian think they are global but they really are not global, if it because of music they are not really global like I said..... in Europe you won't really hear Nigerian music as European listen to their own country music more 💥in Africa also not all, French speaking African countries like DR congo don't even play Nigerian music and I don't even think the Portuguese or Spanish African countries do play much Nigerian music or even nothing at all
      The African countries that might hear Nigerian music are those African countries where English is spoken like Ghana etc but for the rest it not as global as Nigerian think
      Right now I'm in America and no Nigerian music is played here people in America don't really play African music they only play American music even nollywood is not popular here most people don't even know what nollywood is

    I think maybe the problem with Kenyan music and music videos is that they are trying so hard to sound, feel and look foreign because I don't know why you need to go to Cape Town in SA to shoot your videos when you've got a beautiful Safari that other people come to your country to see. Look around you and make use of your local environment. Haven't you seen Simi's music videos?

    Any country that despised its culture will have northing to sell to another culture.
    And that is Kenya Uganda. These countries have one common problem. Tribalism.
    And politicians as another problem.
    Music was used to take power in East and South Africa. That’s why it’s controlled by politicians.
    Hence i you have to belong to political group for your music to get airplay.

    03:27 Tanzania has no “variety”? It’s just five artists? Sorry my beautiful Kenyan cousins. That is not the reality. There is a healthy internal market for music, and when Tanzania doubles in population by 2040, Kenya may become a cultural afterthought. In terms of music, there will only be 255 with 254 as a rich and inconsequential suburb of culture.
