    Thanks, Keef great recipe. I live in Vancouver and my fussy inlaws are always suspicious of British grub. They'd never heard of Bakewell tart before so I sprang this on them for dessert the other night. They absolutely loved it.

    Great recipe Keef. My favourite actually is the Cherry bakewell tart one because I love the combination of icing, almond and jam. I mash up cherry pie filling to use as my jam. Damn it's so good! 👍

    Tip: if you don't want to worry about the heat from your hands simply use 2 knives to cut the butter (freeze it frist for best results) into the flour as it imparts the least amount of heat.

    Perhaps if you grated the butter after freezing it of course.
