Built from scratch means it is no longer the Medway Queen then. There must be a cut off point where if you use say 70% of it it is okay to call it the same name but anything less than that and its a copy.
No this is all new a few bits of the original were incorporated, the engine being the biggest part but by and large it’s a new ship, to a large degree Waverley was almost completely renewed at the turn of the century too.
Looks more like built from scratch and a good job of that.
That's how renovation works, tear it down and rebuild it to it's former glory

I am not sure if she was dismantled, if that is the case then it looks like there not much left of the original one
